Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion

Apparently not enough to make capcom happy with Megaman 10 sales. I suspect the fanbase size is a lot smaller than the vocal internet would have you assume.

If a 2d mario and Donkey kong couldn't boost sales, megaman can't either.

IDK how the sales for Megaman 10 were, but Megaman 9 sold a lot didn't it? It was mainly because it was the first megaman game in a long time that used the original elements of classic/X, but the scenario right now is the same if not even better because the franchise is considered dead in hands of capcom.

As for the other thing, I don't know, but if you look in youtube, whatever megaman game video has a lot of more views than the average for most other characters. Its more evident with crossover games like tatsunoko vs capcom or proyect x zone, the videos with Volnutt and X have more views than the others. You might be right though.

i'm just a very small drop in the water but man, i can't wait for megaman ZX3, even if ZXA was such a disappointment.

For me ZX and ZX advent were great games gameplay wise, but it was the story which seemed totally stupid for me. The franchise needs a reboot that links it deeper to the megaman zero franchise instead of jumping 1000 years into the future as an excuse to create a whole new world/story.

i don't mind the story, but in ZXA there's zero reason to use any of the bosses, at all, except the turtle because slowing down time is OP.
plus they removed Ox and replaced it with model "a", i almost popped a vein.

Megaman has to be one of the cheapest games capcom could make. If it was so easy, and such a guaranteed money earner, they certainly wouldn't be putting it off when they're in such desperate need of cash.

The Mii Gunner's side smash attack may have the farthest reach of all the side smashes...as should be expected from a firearms expert!! Looks like the attack missed this time, though.

I believe it is. It's from sequelitis: megaman classic vs megaman x. You should watch it; it's very interesting.

Pic of the day. I talked about an attack with a far reach in yesterday's post, but it didn't compare to Palutena's up smash attack! No joke, it reaches really far. It reached so far in this shot that even the rocketbarrels got blown up.

That said, if we're talking just about range, even that can't beat Palutena's power, Heavenly Light. It has quite a damage field. However, this is a no-flinch attack, which means the opponents won't react to the damage!

Really went all out to give Palutena that deity feel, hmm... Don't know how I feel about it.

It's less about the quality of games, it's the lack of games, but Nintendo is the only console that I actually want games on, besides kingdom hearts, but even that's not a priority to me anymore lmao

Buying any console for 2 games is pretty silly.

My rule of thumb is it's not worth buying if the value of games you want to buy right now don't exceed the cost of the console.
