I feel like I'm the only person that prefers the name Shade to Eunwol.

You're not! Shade is a very good name. I think the reason why everyone is a bit reluctant is because we are so used to the name Eunwol for the past 6 months and it's weird to suddenly go from Eunwol -> Shade ever so suddenly.

I don't like Shade because I think about a skateboarder instead of a maple legend but this game is dead anyways.

i personally prefer shade because eunwol is a mouthful, also if it's supposed to be a given name that is supposed to mean something rather than be an actual name, it makes all the more sense to translate it/change it

It's just the first time in a long time that they've changed the name of a class for our release, is all. I'm sure down the line we'll all get used to it. I do kind of feel like Shade's a bit lackluster, but I do get the reasoning behind the name. It does seem like there was some thought put into the change.

Regarding the name "Shade," think of it in terms of the "ghost" definition.

It really isn't that hard to get to why they picked shade from reading this after knowing shades storyline.

I still don't see the appeal at all. Granted he has a pretty interesting storyline (though very bleak), and he's one of the heroes which I guess is another plus, but as far as being a playable character he looks so dull...

I watched the dubbed animated video of Eunwol Shade. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like Freud is shouting: "S H I T, no!"

I guess the thing about these new classes (excluding Zero) is that they have pretty much ran out of ideas and decided to use the boring gameplay style for a new class and decided to also make it one of the top DPS players

Zero was an amazing class and i honestly think that was a huge success for nexon, then they release this.

I don't really care much for Shade either. Literally the only reason I'm making one is for the Fox items you get from the hot time or from some other event. (Fox Ears, Fox Tail and Fox Whiskers or something, I think)

Oh but hold on, that Fox Ring you get at level 150 is account tradeable forever and comes Unique on reveal. DAMN IT, I'm going to have to make one now.

The only reason I'm a bit disappointed about the name change is because it would've made sense with spelling out MAPLE (Personally I don't consider Evan to be a hero) but yes Shade makes sense as well considering no one can see him.

Sad thing is that its level 70, so it's potential is equal to that of an epic potential 71+ ring. But then again, its free and its unique.

I can't say I am a fan of the name Shade myself but it was obvious they were going to change it. A few weeks after its release and no one will care anyway.

I guess they really ran with the forgotten hero theme and made the gameplay totally forgettable as well.

Who knows though. I've seen videos of classes I thought I would like and they didn't work for me at all and some classes I wasn't interested in I ended up enjoying.

I got 1 helm and 3 helms the two times I killed it. It dropped coins, card, etc. too.
