I want a guardian tesla but ive already spent 200 gems and only gotten 4 of the new units 3 of wich are teslas and those are 2 breakers and 1 anima

If you have the resources (and have leveled sphere crafting enough) make the spheres that poison enemies. Pheonix is vulnerable to poison and will take more in poison damage than he regenerates (i believe). That's how I took him down the first time I fought him a long while back.

(having a good leader friend helps too though)

Now, I suppose I should do Cordelica before St. Lamia? Judging from the wiki, St. Lamia-Fire seems pretty crazy. I really want those Idols though. =_=

idols have an extremely low drop rate, so if you go for idols , don't be disappointed that you dont get one after 20 tries ;O

Butbut I need the idols to evolve my Douglas, Aem and my Eze ;-;

Better off doing the vortex dungeon lvl 3 for idols on tuesday ;(
still doesn't hurt to try . You can get them fro cordelica dungeons as well.

Since you need idols of differing elements, you might just want to see if you can handle the tuesday dungeon. You'll have 5 battles against 5 different (random) idols. The drop rate is low but higher than in dungeons... also, you get a guaranteed idol drop during the 5th battle.

^ Tried it and got 3 idols (2 water 1 earth). I really wanted a thunder one for Eze but eh, it'll do.

Also, I need advice. Right now I'm using Xenon, Mega, Zelban, Eze and Mimir (sometimes I use Claris) with Zelban as leader.

The other units I have are:
Ziz
Logan - Oracle
Emilia
Heidt

Should I stick with my current team? I really want to use Logan and Emilia but I lack units for a mono Thunder or Dark team and I don't know if I should replace Xenon with Logan in my current team. I also don't think I should replace Eze with Emilia, since I really need his AOE. =\

If you want to try having a mono thunder secondary team, you might wanna pick up royal dancer may. She's a f2p unit and isn't that bad once you get her 3 star. Close to 4k hp maxed out. And since she's easily recruitable you can keep trying for anima.

Having at least 1 mono team isn't a bad idea. As you get more gems from daily login (1/9 chance :\ ) and from events/compensations, you'll want to use gems during increased periods to have a premium healer. You'll want to grab someone like Elimo/Lancia/Rashil/Tree.

Heads up! you can get gods/kings from the new floors in the tower

Holy beejeezus. What's up with that dungeon? That was insanely difficult. Undine alone has an insane amount of HP. Combined with the two other goombas, this dungeon sucked ass.

In contrast, the next dungeon was easy as pomegranate. Three cures and only lost Zelban to Agnis BB. I even got an earth idol!

I'm so mad. Blew through all my damn items. =_=

As a heads up, difficulty ramps wayyyy up at Valtan Fortress (or the next one, don't remember) in Cordelica

difficulty ramps up when you start the tower with light units. Basically bosses are same but mobs are 2x stronger.
Got estia running through 171-180. I wouldn't advise using dark units.

I used a mono dark team for the longest time. Just make sure to use seals/ores and you'll be fine.

Im wayy past the tower of light but the even tower is about to hand my ass to me

Only had to run level 9 of Estia one extra time to capture her.

I think I've farmed enough totems for now. Now to work on leveling BB while fusion rates are up.
