Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed this morning. The bottom ones were deeply impacted, so I had to go to an oral surgeon. The man seemed pretty cool and it went by quickly after they knocked me out. I was terrified when I woke up, though. I don't do drugs and I rarely take medicine, so that disoriented feeling was really new to me.
Anyways, I haven't had any food or water in over 12 hours and I'm starving. I wanna get to a solid diet asap.

Finished with my exams, which means I'm finished with my first year of university! Very weird feeling. Most of my friends have another exam tomorrow and my roommate for next year has his last exam on the 16th (ouch), but I'm free for the next like.. 4 months. Gotta find things to do!

Since I'm caught up on episodes now, I thought it'd be fun to start reading the books to see what details the shows overlooked and changed-although ordering the box set would be too intimidating for me and I wouldn't read any of them D: so one at a time will do!

Yesterday, the landlord and his wife came to pick up the rent, and we asked them about a few things that we were having issues with- the upstairs tenants claimed to have called the landlord regarding the issues, but the landlord and his wife claimed they never received such messages. I trust the landlord and lady more than the people upstairs so..lesson learned that if there's a problem, we'll just call them about it rather than trusting the upstairs people to do it. After that, Stephen and I went to a lake and walked around it. The beach area was already crowded with people, although we found a nice, non-sandy spot to do some possible swimming further down the trail, so I'm excited for that.
I've been home for about 2 hours and I'm already 80 pages into book 1. SO GOOD.

My girlfriend and I went hiking out to these "Punch Bowl" rock formations near where we live. They collect water so you can swim in them. Would have been cool, but my girlfriend tripped shortly into the hike (7 miles) and scraped her knee pretty bad. We left early and she ended up having to get 8 stitches.
On another note, my university sent me a BIG check. Turns out they approved (almost a week after I graduated) a grant that wasn't given to me at the beginning of the semester.

Looking at new dance studios. This new dance studio was wtp.
- SMALL dance floor. I was running into people constantly.
- AMATEUR instructors.
- EXPENSIVE packages. They wanted me to pay for "units". Each unit = 1 private lesson, 1 semi-private lesson (semi-private meaning no more than 8 people in a class), and 1 practice session (essentially a social). The cost of a unit? $180! Screw that! The reason why they have their lessons as "semi-private" is because they can't FIT more than 8 people on the dance floor.
They tried to sell me on a 5 unit package for the low low discount of $650.
What an awful business. They can go screw themselves.

Got another date sometime next week, although I don't like to talk about my dating life, this one seems like a winner. Her first question to me after we started talking, "Who's your favorite Mario Kart character".

Meanwhile, in my life, i'm pretty sure the hot, really friendly and nice guy at work was checking me out today. I'm not going to jump to conclusions because christ i'm sick of liking straight guys, but everyone keeps saying he's gay, and there's no smoke without fire.
I'm going to be.. cautiously optimistic, until I know for sure. Either way he's a really nice guy and it's fun to talk to him. He seems to like me one way or another.

Some days I feel like a calorie burning furnace. Today is one of those days. I get so HUNGRY. I MUST EAT EVERYTHING.
Deadlifted today:
275 x 5 (grip started to fail on the last rep)
315 x 1
315 x 1
315 x 1 (grip failed)
All standard overhand grip. No mixed grip was needed.
I'm going to need fat gripz soon. The 80 pound dumbbells are starting to become too light for me.
I'm getting wayyyy stronger. Yay caloric surplus.

Two of my wisdom teeth were sideways. What were they even trying to do when they grew in?

Why are books 3 and 5 split into 2? Is that how the show's going to split the seasons?

Five Second Pose Wrote:Why are books 3 and 5 split into 2? Is that how the show's going to split the seasons? It's because those books are ridiculously long. I think in the US they are just one book, but they get split in the UK for some reason.
According to the author, book 3 on it's own is longer than the entire Lord of The Rings trilogy, so... yeah.
Also the series is already doing that split, season 3 was the first half of Storm of Swords (book 3) and season 4 is the final half.

Found out that I am more popular at work than I thought I was. After coming back from a weeks vacation almost everyone told me it seemed more dull when I wasn't around.
Good feelings at an all time high.
