What will be unavailable:

• All MapleStory game servers.
  

Changes and Updates:

• Back end modifications and updates will be made to the servers.
  
• Using the Maplemas Party Potion will no longer cause the game to stop responding and prevent players from using portals and skills.
  
• The end date listed in the Event List for Red Leaf High is now correct.

They don't usually mention fixing exploits until the game went down.

Is this similar to what had happened in the past? or something completely different. Pretty sure it was something to do with beginners as well.

The old exploit, or one of them anyway, involved using a teleport rock to sneak into the old Maple Island map to keep getting the "automatically jump to level 10" thing over and over.

Seems like they didn't ban most of the exp exploiters.
