So now that I'm back from my week vacation, I can finally say some stuff on the latest updates.

I'm not really a fan of Neople keeping our character, names, and levels, but wiping everything else. There's too many ways they can screw this up. Depending on the compensation they give / announce, it'll determine if I just end up remaking my Zerker or not, although if the "deleted name" bug still exists then I'm obviously not remaking lol.

I agree with that. I kinda of been leveling real slowly.

Yeah I'm, more or less, waiting until post-Alpha before jumping back on to DFO. Granted I'll probably jump on just to spend my gold upgrading the storage on my alts to max.

This is pretty much why I may end up not remaking. We'll just have to see post-Alpha. :I (or whenever they make an account system outside of FB)

Wiping everything except a character's level/name is beyond dumb.

Too many people I know got their original names camped because people have nothing better to do.
Too many hackers rocketing to 70.
I know they're going to give you level appropriate gear after the official relaunch. But what then? You'll have no gold. No materials, which includes: cube fragments, hardeners, paving stones, iron scraps, jewels, Omens, nihilistic stones etc.
There would be no point in doing something like hell mode because anything you get will just be wiped along with any remaining invitations.

tl;dr just wipe the entire game.

Hopefully something goes wrong with preparing for the relaunch and the data gets lost anyway.

[COLOR="#cc8899"]I'm half-expecting them to miss something, whether it's mailboxes or safes or whatever. I intend to mail to myself anything that I want to keep that isn't unsealed.

Also, wiping quest items could severely screw people over. Not wiping quest items could leave hell stones or some other weird things. I'm hoping they give everyone a basic package of materials in addition to gear, or make materials purchasable via NPC for a brief period after launch.

We'll see what Neople does to handle this - there is a chance that they're not quite as mind-numbingly stupid as Nexon is. Plus, if they pineapple up, maybe we'll all get Ice Tiger Capsules!
