2009 has a pretty good line up of movies, from horror to comedy to action. Here's some movies that you guy's should look into seeing.
Gran Torino
- Disgruntled Korean War vet Walt Kowalski sets out to reform his neighbor, a young Hmong teenager, who tried to steal Kowalski's prized possession: his 1972 Gran Torino. Yet seeks to help him when a gang harasses his family.
Genre - Crime, Thriller, Drama.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
- Tells the story of Benjamin Button, a man who starts aging backwards with bizarre consequences
Genre - Drama, Mystery, Fantasy.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
- Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle.
Genre - Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
- Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabertooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program.
Genre - Action, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Thriller.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
- An origins story centered on the centuries-old feud between the race of aristocratic vampires and their onetime slaves, the Lycans.
Genre - Action, Fantasy, Horror, Thriller.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop
- When a shopping mall is overtaken by a gang of organized crooks, it's up to the a mild-mannered security guard to save the day.
Genre - Comedy, Crime.
Pink Panther 2
- Insp. Jacques Clouseau teams up with a squad of International detectives who are just as bumbling as he is. Their mission: Stop a globe-trotting thief who specializes in stealing historical artifacts.
Genre - Adventure, Comedy, Family, Mystery.
Fighting
- In New York City, a young counterfeiter (Tatum) is introduced to the world of underground street fighting by a seasoned scam artist (Howard), who becomes his manager on the bare-knuckling brawling circuit.
Genre - Action, Drama.
