Yeah I really need to find a boss group again since I started playing again.
Is there a group in Windia that might want a Paladin?

As it turns out, I can solo Normal Aky.

Did this fulfill some kind of sadistic desire I had? Potentially.

Forgot to take a screenshot, but decided to try Hard Hilla yesterday.

Took 12 deaths and ~23 minutes, but I managed to do it.

What the hell how? Every time i went with a partner stronger than me she would just heal herself from 1% to 100% in seconds...

She's a joke if you have 100% status resistance, since you can avoid the cage.

Status Resistance seems to make you avoid the cage, I never even knew that before I tried.

30% Alchemy Pot
20% from 3rd job skill
20% Max Willpower
20% Lv150 Hyper
15% Lv6 Cygnus Link
3% Character Cards

Total of 108%.

Feels like CPB has changed to me. I've been getting many less status ailments.

On a side note, could I even stand a chance at cPB/Emp with the following:

Soloing Vellum is surprisingly easier than duoing. Who knew.





Both runs were pretty smooth. 2 deaths on the first, 1 on the second + 1 suicide to prevent Ifrit from killing early. Both done on the first try too.

After many days of trying and some bad internet/Australian ping, dis noob kills it as its fireballing and we got no drops :c soooooooooon

How do drops work for this boss anyway? the xenon in that pic is pretty strong might be able to solo it soon. not quite sure how we maximise drops yet

Well then.

Attemped a Chaos Vellum run with just an occasional door mule for pomegranates and giggles, and ended up getting this far before running out of time.
Much better than I expected. xD
I can't cap on it all the time yet, so there's still room for improvement! Sadly, I don't think a solo is possible. ;-;
