Question is, where are they starting at?

It is stated at the MapleStory Indonesia facebook page that they're starting from big bang resistance patch.

I probably missed it, but when does it open?

So, any plans on playing IMS or any future IMS patch dates should they get something interesting?

I really hope some original things spawn there like a new world tour area

There are CBT events that will give IMS (exclusive?) chairs:

Monas (Monumen Nasional) chair

Speaking of which, I would like to see how IMS is going to translate "Master Thief Phantom" into Indonesia language. It will become "Guru Pencuri Phantom" and it makes Phantom sound like a criminal...

Ahahaha. Sounds so weird in Indonesian. I think they'll keep it in English. Or probably they'll go crazy and translate it "Mahagarong Phantom".

Let's ruin the game for them as well

reading through the comments on their facebook.. the admin said the resistance would be released first before the cygnus knights... could this mean that they're skipping straight to Cygnus Returns ?

I'm gonna try it out too. Hopefully the management is better than MSEA and cash won't be as expensive as MSEA.

@DeanNim : bahasa indonesia or bahasa melayu? both language might look somewhat similar, but there's a huge differences. I had trouble understanding and communicating with the locals when i first arrive in indonesia even though i'm Malay.

We have an extra option in the menu called 'language', which allows us to switch between the different client languages.
Everything on the site's also listed in 3 languages, and we had 5 or 6 at one point but they've been gradually closing down.
And if you're wondering about how they can manage to translate it all, every single Dutch translation is done by Google Translate, no idea about the other ones.

It actually isnt(wasnt, as EMS is now English only) translated with Google Translate but Nexon paid a few normal players(Non Nexon employees) in order to do the translations. As Nexon didnt check the translations at all, there were huge translation mistakes, some trolling attempts by the translators(for example spanish language had references and mentions of some politicians on their NPC scripts among others) and on some parts the translation was completely missing.

[MENTION=11641]ponsez[/MENTION]; It was more of a figure of speech, but the Dutch translations were so horribly bad I almost can't believe someone actually wrote like that.

Wait... still? That was one of the reasons I disliked EMS 7 years and they still didn't bother to adjust the translations made? :f6:

sedare indonesia tkde ??? idk but i speak indon with my tg. pinang cousins all the time. i dont text them though, so the slang is abit susah.. kalau tk paham tkpe, tgk sinetron bnyk2

If they were to say they wouldn't implement the potential system into the game for whatever reason I'd hop in, even if my ping would be like 500 all the time.

Why are they advertising the game as "Cute Online Game". There's no punchline or anything. Lytogame's advertisement team is lazy.

Looking through their WZ files (using BMS/GMS encryption), it seems that they will start with Big Bang Resistance patch. Everything seems to be from Big Bang except for the character creation where it looks like it was ripped off from the current one but it only has Resistance, Explorer, Cygnus Knights, Aran, Evan, Dual Blade. (Yeah, the names of the classes aren't translated).

this server is a joke. bad first impression, on the first day.
CBT delay from 12pm to 5pm.
then from 5pm to 6pm..
so here i am waiting again till 6pm, let see whats gonna happen next..

cant seem to download the client :/

I have it downloaded and installed but I get stuck at this screen when I try and launch the game.
