I doubt Chrom will appear now, with Ike coming back. They'd look too visually similar and I can only see Chrom fitting the, slow-but-heavy hitter type. Same with Lucina and Marth.

Actually, I'm starting to doubt we'll even have a third rep now, but I guess Sakurai could pull some crazy pomegranate out, like Roy or something completely unexpected.

I wouldn't mind seeing dr Mario as a Mario skin, or Lucas as Ness', at least for nostalgia purposes. The pills would have to be fireball clones though.

A much better choice would be Robin/Avatar. Or at least some magic user. A third blue haired sword user would be a bit of a waste.

For those who aren't aware: Brawl Ike was the one from Path of Radiance where he was just starting out as a mercenary. This is Ike after 4 years (including PoR) of fighting in wars/leading his merc group.

He got pretty buff in his second game too (as you would probably expect from a person who delibrately uses a heavy 2handed sword with one hand. )

If you do, the 3DS game is probably the most friendly to new players as it includes an option to turn off perma death.

Just keep in mind guys that I believe Jigglypuff was NEVER confirmed before brawl even came out, so Sakurai may pull the same sort of shenanigans this time around as well. There's just no way of knowing for sure what the full roster is going to be until the game is actually out.

That was kind of my point with mentioning Jigglypuff as a secret character. Wasn't Jigglypuff a secret character in EVERY game, and completely unmentioned prior to release in all of them?

Weeelll, Tharja and Cordelia were the two most popular females over in Japan (they got their own DLC scenes AND figurines), so it might not be too far fetched.

Include Robin/Avatar: Final Smash places both into a FE battle (similar to C.Falcon placing hit target into a different screen) and calls randomly on one of the following skills: Astra, Ignis (deal half more damage), Lethality, Sol, or Luna (causes enemy weight class to be lowered during these hits).

He doesn't look nearly as bad in the sprites. I think the 3D model is just strange looking though, he looks nicely buff in the sprites, and Hulk "I'M GONNA SMASH YOU" in Smash Bros.

-NOBODY- has received the chris treatment besides chris, ike got beefed up but it's still within the acceptable realm, chris' muscles have a mind of their own (and they want the blood of giant stones)
