Has anyone actually translated what they all say? Some of them are in too small of a font or are too dark to make out, but a few should be easily readable to someone that knows the languages.
It's hard to read but I'm quite certain the bottem right reads about all the excitement dealing with global room?

For a fast paced beat-em-up one would expect to level pretty fast, but it can feel more like leveling in an MMORPG. This'll be more crucial now that people are probably going to compare Diablo 3 RoS to this game in terms of leveling speed and playstyle and may or may not think "oh this game takes so long to get to level 70, why should I keep playing". Elitists will call them casuals/scrubs, but constant stream of new players will be what'll keep this DFO alive. Here's hoping to Neople that they give the later patches where the EXP curve gets smoothed out even more and raises the level cap to at least 80.
Also just my opinion, but the old MS and D2 Vanilla EXP curves were some of the most atrocious things I've ever had to experience. They worked when we're younger and have far less responsibilities, but not these days. Do I ever want to go through that again? I'd rather eat a shoe and risk dying.
Strikers can never be truly nerfed, mang. They are one of the most loved child of Neople. That and so many Korean tier players play Strikers they can't really nerf it without tons of outrage.
Yeah, I can't hate on any class, but the depiction of male brawler with "9pc dirty trick" is just so hilarious I can't help but look at it over and over.

While you are correct in that older often means more busy, it can't be translated straight into a thesis of the success or fail of the game.
That being said, I would hate to grind like that and so would probably the majority.
The players of today would never accept those old style grind EXP rates, because the gaming industry has been spoon feeding players with stream line designs and instant rewards for several years. The younger players have no idea how personal satisfaction and longer lasting games are linked together, and unless we enter a new gaming paradigm soon, they'll never get the chance.

Oh, the days of spending months(/years if you were me with Super Mario World) on one console game...

Then you realize that this newer generations probably spend a fraction of the time finishing games like Super Mario World because the parents are there to help teach them what to do instead of dying over 10 million times on the same level. ;_;

At least the Souls series is still popular-ish, though it's been getting easier with each new installment unfortunately, not harder. Before it was "learn complex patterns or lose, sometimes hours of progress at a time", now it's "get a stronger weapon and you can power through" or "learn cheap gimmick and the entire area is suddenly simple". It's still fun, but DaSI-II are nowhere near as satisfying as DeS, particularly on NG+. DeS NG+ was like first playthrough amplified by multiple orders of difficulty, DaS was barely harder and DaS II is almost EASIER on higher difficulties aside from a small handful of bosses (Flexile Demon because of his two ninja adds that use Toxic, and spider queen because her new AI in higher modes is flat bullshit for any melee class, it leaves no openings at all even using an NPC summon).

This is basically me and my oldest boy. He just played through LoZ: Skyward Sword and couldn't be bothered to fight any of the bosses.
Dang, when I was seven I waged war against stuff like the unforgiving original Mega Man on the NES. Yellow Devil, oh how I hate you...

THIS pomegranate LOOKS REALLY FUN, what class does Diva come from, I want that pomegranate. Basically, the only classes that really look interesting to me are witch, chaos knight, glacial master, and whatever the pineapple that is. Unless they've changed Summoner drastically from when I last played it (albeit, that was like 4 years ago, so they probably have changed it a bit).
Here some real groping action.

Only thing i dun like about grap is that if your team mates lag even in the slightest, your class become absolutely worthless qq. It is fun to be rolling around in invincible frames looking badass though.

with the old NA Nexon team ya. But with neople Lag isnt unbearable most of the times. Nunu had a potato until a couple weeks ago and he did fine in ov and other places.(expect when someone used nens 2nd awakening, then boom). I expect neople to fix the Net code of the Global version in beta or higher.

Neople on FB Wrote:It is really great to see so many of you enjoying the game and cheering for us – we are really happy and excited as well.
Through this Alpha Test, we are trying to assess the possibility of reopening the game. Many of you have been showing a tremendous amount of support, and for us to reopen the game we really need the DFO community to continue to support us and the game.
Here at Neople we will do our best to make the game as enjoyable as possible. Please show us the power of DFO community in bringing this game back – help us so that Neople and the DFO community can work together to have DFO back online!
We do read your comments very carefully so we know what everyone has been asking – if there is any news we promise to make an announcement here as soon as we can. We know many of you are frustrated but we really would appreciate your patience in this.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
Sounds like they do not even know if there will be a Beta yet, which is odd because they should have set a goal for the Alpha and operate by that. Surely the traffic must meet the expectations?

I think they took Nexon NA's word to heart and were not expecting anything out of this. They are scrambling to make up time now; now maybe overseas MMO companies will realize that NxA is fucking worthless, or at least start to question if they are really getting the profit margins that they could out of them. Ultimately, they ARE hiring people, so I think that means that there will be a real version, I just wish they would answer whether or not there will be a wipe plainly, because while it seems like common sense, them avoiding saying it outright is a bit offsetting. Unless they have some magic method of getting rid of 100% of the farmed gold and don't mind losing a huge amount of money because people are getting free avatars and cash shop items.

I'd be more inclined to log in if the Alpha was actually about testing and finding bugs, but seeing as it is a working build already tested by Nexon it seems a tad on the side of pointless.
If it is just an interest gague, they already have the answer they are fishing for. A prolonged Alpha will just give off the illusion of disinterest; I know I have troubles justifying playing at the moment.

"Working build" is subject to negotiation.
Also, I have to believe that they are monitoring all net traffic with an IDS of some sort in order to sniff out all illegitimate activity and patch it before they recode the client to actually be decent.
