MapleStory First Spin OFF (the next KMS update)

Today, Nexon posted a preview of their new update.
The new update called First Spin OFF.
As we shall see, the NPC system will be updated, As well as a new story about Cygnus.

Sounds like they are just fully implementing the NPC system that Zero already has in Mirror World. I pretty much expected that.

EDIT: is this really a full NPC update? Or is this just the story? Only story quests have voice acting and large character portraits. I don't see any update in this video.

Oh, Aran & Evan have outdated story lines... Let's do a School Girls spin off with Cygnus!!!!. Priorities... Nexon Korea still doesn't understand them...

Another part of the book is MapleStory If: “If I wasn’t a hero…”. It’s sort of like an alternate reality in which the Maple heroes are all school students haha.

I think parts of it are like a dating simulator as some of the characters try to ask out others lol.

Each of the characters also has a different back story! Mercedes is the all around good student, but her only flaw is that she cannot wake up early in the morning. It’s also mentioned she doesn’t understand relationships.

Aran is the typical jock student. He’s been in love with Mercedes since he first set eyes on her.

Phantom is the only son of the chairman of the Crystal Garden airlines, and hasn’t grown up with any hardships.

Luminous is the class president and very studious. Whenever he gets mad, Dark Luminous appears.

Evan is a younger student in the school. He is also in love with Mercedes, but she considers him a little brother.

Female Aran and Evan also show up in it, I think they’re fangirls of Phantom haha.[/spoiler]

This first spin-off is called 'Friends Story'. The whole NPC system won't be updated. The NPC dialogue will look different in this story line. It's the same user interface from the revamped Mushroom Castle content.

A new Inkwell’s Secret Diary has been released, with a teaser of MapleStory’s first spin-off, Friends Story! It seems like it’s an alternate universe sort of thing, about Cygnus and the rest of her knights. Looks like they’ll be using the new NPC/quest system, similar to Zero and the updated Mushroom Kingdom.

It begins with the Empress telling Nineheart she’s had dreams about another world… where they go to school together. It then goes to Cygnus, the only daughter of the Shinsoo Group company leader, telling the student body president Nineheart about her dreams of a world where she has knights that protect her.

Should have done one piece, I would have even came back for some one piece.

Am I the only one disturbed/annoyed that idos puts his name on all of the pictures? They aren't yours; you had nothing to do with their creation. You're just relaying the information. You don't see Orange Mushroom putting "Orange Mushroom" in the corner of all the screenshots he puts in his blog.

Strange path for Maple to take, IMO. Don't really care for Anime so this is uninteresting to me.
