All channels except the one that has three bars keep giving me the "A network error has occured" error and the one that has three bars disconnects me to the desktop before it reaches character select.

Same exact thing happening to me. Oh well, didn't expect to play much, to be quite honest. I'm anticipating the wipe, and I've got too much to do irl, so it's not that big of a deal as long as I know that the game will eventually move towards an official relaunch. Best of luck to everyone else, though!

Gotta keep trying to connect to one channel consistently. I eventually got in after like 30+ minutes of constantly trying to connect to Channel 13.

Well at least Neople is acknowledging the "Time-out" error.

It seems many of you are having the ‘operation time-out’ issue. As a quick fix for now, try this: log-out of your Facebook account, log-in again, and launch the game again.

We are looking into this issue as we speak, so please bear with us

If you have fixed skills do use them . Fixed damage is super buffed in tower.
Alpha does have its fair share of issues that need resolving

there is none iirc.
