Have been switching over to my WD lately, forged an Asheara's and Aughild's sets, so now she's doing pretty awesome. Already much faster at killing bosses and elites than my barb.

I;m noticing that switching from Crusader to Wizard. The difference in damage output is absurd at the cost of some survivability. The biggest difference to me is realizing that Crusaders seem to be far more dependent on specific legendaries where other classes feel a little less "all or nothing"

Wow those witch doctor changes are nice. I'm really liking sycophants change. I think i'll be using rain of toads instead of bats now.
Buffs to dogs? Good change! Gargantuan changes are ehhhh though. Like no physical one to use. Not like I use him anyways. That pirahna rune though....

They're still of the opinion that if a skill's mechanic makes it completely worthless and unplayable, we should buff the pomegranate out of the skill's damage to make up for that fact that 50% of the time it does nothing. See Energy Twister, Lashing Tail Kick, Shield Bash, Falling Sword, etc. This Shield Bash buff in particular is meaningless if you still do 0 damage to a moving target. The Smite range change is questionable when it was mislabelled as 15 yards to begin with. It was actually 20 yards before, if they made it match the 30 yard rune, it would actually be 40 yards now. Shatter would be okay for damage though, every other rune is still pomegranate. Still no heal scaling for Crusaders. That Horrify buff that completely negates Tiklandian Visage. Really showing the power of them build changing legendaries. Seize the Initiative for Demon Hunters, so creative, such original. Meanwhile, nothing to address the fact that fire still pomegranates on everything else.

Stop nerfing muh Teleport, Blizzard. Meanwhile, Witch Doctor getting sweet Pet oriented buffs. Crusaders looking really strong now, hopefully that's the end of such drastic changes so I can play the class and not be QQing when something I really liked gets nerfed.. The 1H vs 2H benefits are now pretty distinct, and I'll be hard pressed to wield a giant honking weapon vs attacking much faster and spamming my buttons hard. Hooray for no slower movement speed anymore for 2H wielding.

I see the Teleport change as a buff, but then again I only use Wormhole and nothing else lol.

I suppose the extra 2 seconds to Wormhole and the -5 second CD isn't too bad. I guess it was more of a knee-jerk reaction to see Teleport going from 3 extra Teleports down to 2, now down to 1.

Wormhole was too obviously the best rune. 90% of Teleport is Wormhole. I don't think that Calamity necessarily needed the nerf too, but Wormhole was way too good at spamming and travel. If they lowered the cooldown like now, it would have been way too strong with The Oculus. Now, there's the option to use it tactically within the 3 seconds instead of holding down the Teleport button to make sure you get both hits off and cover the maximum distance in the 1 second. Reversal seems like it'd be an interesting rune for certain setups.
I was hoping for some better WD Cold supplementary skills, but Wall of Zombies is so pomegranate, and I don't need a Gargantuan... Might pick up my Monk again and go Cold since she has Cold Strongarms. The Cold rune for Cyclone Strike is terrible though. They removed the dodge from Fists of Thunder, why not that too. Such a worthless stat unless you're doing gimmicky as pomegranate Backlash. |
