We've been broken up for three months now. I've lost 25 lbs, gained plenty of new friends, and am learning and doing things I'd have never done with you in my life.
I saw you today at the grocery store and you've gained weight and looked worn down and exhausted. I felt bad for a second, and then I grabbed my coconut milk and went onto the next aisle.

Finding a job though... it's so annoying. I'm having barely any luck whatsoever. Every job requires like a year of experience, but you can't get experience unless you find a job, but all the jobs you find require experience! it is bullpomegranate.
It's stupid because I do have 2 years experience working at another job, but all the experience required is stupidly specific.
If the government has a such a damn hard on for unemployment, maybe they should tell businesses to be SLIGHTLY less picky.
Was about to post about the same thing, finding a job is incredibly annoying and kinda hard. My problem is worse than yours, though, at least you have 2 years experience in something, I've never worked a day in my entire life. I've been sending CVs around and nothing. I've been trying to get family and friends with connections to hook me up... but it turns out no one in my family is connected to someone that owns a business or something. My only chance was working for my grandma but since I haven't worked ever and she thinks I'm lazy she's not going to help
It should get easier now or soonish, with vacations period for schools and college coming soon there's always a lot of businesses hiring. Or at least I hope so.
I drank coffee, spent 15 hrs on a paper, drank more coffee, stayed up all night studying for a final, then took said final, drank more coffee, and am now writing my term paper DUE FRIDAY.

4 days in to another 4 month internship as a software dev! This is my second time working for these guys, so I'm trying to get the new hires who just started their first internship to meet some of the software developers I know from having been there before.
So far my efforts seem to be going well, but I think I could be doing more, so I'm going to try to ramp it up a little.
Completed my first actual year at University today. Hoping to end with 4 As a B and a B+, but a slight chance that they could all be As it's still very up and down right now if the rumor of normal curves comes into play or not.
Honestly, I'm proud of myself. I stepped up into a serious position at work, had an intense work load there and at school going on this semester and still managed to do pretty well.
