God damn that pacing is terrible, LOL. I realize it's meant to be but it went pretty far past what I consider to be acceptable storytelling.

Anyone seen Hitsugi no Chaika? I was thinking of watching it after seeing a god damn unicorn get bisected by a magical rifle blast; but I haven't heard much of it other than that.

Ping Pong is the only thing I'm really actively keeping up with right now. Captivating show. Everything else has fallen 2-3 weeks behind.

Akuma No Riddle episode 8: This show has been a bit all over the place in terms of quality, but this episode has really reignited my interest.
With only 6 girls left now (The 2 main girls, the rulekeeper and the 3 assassins) it feels a lot more.. focused, the plot is finally starting to move on into bigger and better things, and the character interactions are getting more screentime.
There were some pretty awesome twists in this one, like the girl giving an assassination notice with another person name on it to catch them off guard, and seriously oh pomegranate that last minute or so. I knew it was a possibly from the beginning: 2 girls working together to split the protector from the target.
It will be interesting to see how Haru gets out of this one alive. She must have some degree of combat ability to have survived all this time, I guess this is her chance to shine against an assassin with nobody defending her.
Also, lol, there are only 3 male characters in the whole show, and they've managed to include a gay guy who is not only badass, but not a lecherous pervert like most depictions of gay guys in anime. So well done show, well done.

I haven't been able to catch up with most of the shows yet, But I did manage to watch the last episode of Nisekoi. It ended where I expected it to, and It was probably popular enough for them to do a second season if they wanted.

I assume the entire cast in Mekakucity dies. Not that it matters, since they range from boring to absolutely disgusting. The only one I would want to survive is Momo, the rest are just terrible people overall, especially Kano, god damn he's an ass.

Kanojo Flag episode 8: A very funny episode, that seemed like filler at first. But seriously ANOTHER girl? her title of Berserker doesn't really fit her character though. It looks like there is still at least one more girl to go, judging by the opening and ending.
Seriously though the main character is all like "Phew, we are safe" at the end but... for all he knows he just trapped all the other girls (and Megumu) on a train with a bloodthirsty, highly capable robotic assassin. I mean that's a pretty bad move.
Looks like the plot is moving ahead nicely now though.

Hopefully, this episode raised a harem flag ending. Not too sure I like the characters in this show very much.

They really pulled off Nozomi's character well I think. I'd imagine she's the least popular character, and has probably had the least screentime of any member, so this was a good episode for her. dat Maki. dat Nico. hnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg
Next week:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wdxBzeExlY
You can really see they retconned/redesigned the group relations from the original singles here. The most prominent is Nozomi and Umi are swapped I believe, and Umi's design is extremely generic looking.
Isshuukan Friends 08: The whole "I'm using the word 'like' a lot more often" thing really got me.
OP/ED are so good for this show. I'm surprised they had the karaoke scene at the beginning. Enjoy :3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysWxzTOTdU4
The pure look of fear, despair, and devastation on her face from the preview. Looking forward to next week's episode.
Baby Steps 08: Somewhat surprised that there was a timeskip like this, but given how little progress he does make, and it's almost completely dedicated to improving his fundamentals, it makes sense. The hatsumoude scene was hnnnnnngggggggggg.
Haikyuu!! 08: I'm sad that they won't be getting to the actual match soon. At least one episode in between, probably two before it starts. This episode had some great feels. The way it ended with Hinata telling Asahi how great it feels to hit the ball really brought the level up. Quite enjoying this show and the OP is pretty good.
Captain Earth 08: The robot pomegranate is really terrible. Just horrific. I do quite like Akari's character, and next episode might be a focus on her again? Or she'll just be bound and gagged after being chloroformed... Hana hasn't had much to do yet though. I want more Kayano Ai too <3 Also MUH NTR. No wonder he wants to kill everything. Really liking the OP for this one. Pretty top notch despite the quality of the show itself being questionable.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZqWFySgTMM
Facial expressions he makes are a bit weird... Also audio quality is fairly bad even for youtube.
Mahouka 08: As much as I love imoutos, Miyuki is really getting on my nerves. It also feels like there's too many disconnected plot lines coming together. 1. Blanche; 2. Their family; 3. OP scene with Miyuki DED; 4. Suzaku; 5. 9 Schools Competition; 6. MUH MILITARY;
I just want more Erika <3
Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin 07: NOOOOOO MY TENSAI FLAG STOP DESTROYING ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou 08: I'm liking the pacing of this show and the general calm feel with the tsukkomi humour throughout. Ritsu is getting better with each episode and I think they're handling that growth quite well. IT'S A SHAME THAT THE BEST GIRL WILL ALWAYS BE CHINATSU. pls come back
Soul Eater Not!: Caught up to the non-funi subs, and considering watching the raws now. Fairly entertaining, but a bit surprised it's set so far back compared to Soul Eater's ending or even beginning. It really panders to fanservice and yuri and the animation and character designs underline this. Tsubaki's bust has grown quite a bit. Kim is very hnnnnnggggggggggggggg now. Want to see more of dat.
Tonari no Seki-kun: You know, it'd be really amazing to have a series about these two set a few years in the future, with an actual romantic subplot, instead of just as that other girl's fantasies. Pretty great way to end the show though, with Rumi finally getting in trouble because of Seki's antics. Final scene with the phonecall had me.
Black Bullet 07: Since 08 is not out yet and I don't care to wait and I guess they ended an arc just now. Show is pretty bad. Animation is pomegranate. Plot is worse if you can believe it. The whole idea that Rentarou is this strong, but didn't bother to try this hard against Kagetane... The uselessness of their head of state, Seitenshi... The gigantic papayagot bodyguard whatshisface that had his fingers blown off... The fact that they've imprisoned Kohina... The only saving grace is they have Enju and Tina on the cast.
bunch of other stuff I don't feel like commenting on.
Is Akuma no Riddle worth watching the raws for? Is there anything extremely technical? I tried Watakushi for the first episode or something and it was worse than no subs. HorribleSubs can't be much better being from Funi. Kaitou is dead.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to: that breast feeding scene is A++ material

Nobunaga the Derp: derptastic and illogical
NaNaNa: this has to be one of the most shady MC's ever under sheeps clothing
Arc-V: its alot better than i expected of the show
