The problem with some items drop rate isn't that they are so rare, its that there is no trading in the game anymore other then 2 hours with people you had in there when it drops. As I said in my last post, I was extremely lucky to get a kridershot with those drop rates in under a week after RoS went live. Some and probably majority will never see something like that drop for them and because of lack of trading, they can't even works towards one. Kadala helps by narrowing the slot sure but even then she doesn't give all legs.

They really should bring back trading since the AH is long gone. Really no reason anymore other than to stop farm bots. Although it was rather hilarious to see people trying to sell Legendaries for RL money shortly after RoS went live.

As you see sites advertising for paragon leveling and such now. I mean t hey try don't they?

It's true no trading does kill gold sellers but there are other ways to do it, many people have come up with solutions but blizzard rarely cares what the community wants.

Eh, Blizzard is pretty good at listening to the community and their concerns.
The recent patch(es) and Rift hotfixes can attest to this.
Granted the Blizzard forums are pretty freaking terrible / toxic.

The majority of the community are idiots. Blizzard does take note though. Ultimately it is their decision. I remember for WoW they allowed a fan based idea ( stampede) go through and well that caused a bit of a mess though it was fixed after a season of hunters being #1 loludead1button press.

The ones who come up with the solutions to allow trading while still blocking gold sellers aren't the idiots in the community though, these people are the ones I am referring to about not getting listened to. Trading is still very possible while stopping gold sellers.
I didn't say blizzard never cares, I said rarely. Taking notes is all well and good but if nothing ever comes of it, its useless. You're right though, ultimately is it their decision and it's their decisions that have led to so many people leaving the game. Lot's of people in the passed have come up with great ideas but these things will never happen.
Don't get me wrong, D3 is a good game but it could be so much better.

Looks like the Ladder Legendaries were leaked / datamined. Majority of the legendaries have little to nothing to their names right now.

Also loot and other types of lag will be fixed in an upcoming patch, most likely 2.0.5

Quote:The two issues I was referring to are:
"Any time a Battle.net friend signs on or when I open my inventory the game halts for a second or two completely. In multiplayer games it's even worse. Other events cause this too. Sometimes it's several seconds before it's back."
"Also, loot drops and it's not displayed for several seconds"

The idea of my Witch Doctor carrying this thing around is disturbing.

Speculation is that 2.0.5 is coming soon and there will be a separate 2.1.0 PTR. BUT WHO KNOWS.

Did some testing with the help of Shidoshi for the Crusader's Slash.
The hit box is something like a triangle, or trapezoid. Carve, the rune that increases its area of effect basically does nothing at close range, due to the relative change in width with a change in angle at small lengths.

We also played around in PVP, aka World Cheese Championship.

I wish I could find some public games to cheese people in. In 1.08, the Witch Doctor PvP build was so great to farm tears with. The 2s Haunt Rune, autotargeting, for stupid DPS bursting, Spirit Walk to avoid and bait, Horrify, Hex to disable with like 3s of cooldown and ridiculous uptime, Pyrogeist/Leaping Spiders to pressure, etc, etc.

Anyways, there's a blue confirmation that 2.0.5 coming Soon™ and 2.1.0 are separate patches, with 2.1.0 having a PTR.
Currently writing what is basically a research paper about Crusader generators, and seeing how I can condense my thoughts to post it on b.net so I can get more than tl;dr.
