Dodge sucks, though. It doesn't work for a lot of effects like Plagued, Poison Enchanted, Molten, Fire Chains, etc. and yet it scales with the same formula:
10 dex for dodge = 10 str for armor = 10 int for AR.

Crusaders have quite a few strong CD-based abilities - Phalanx and Heaven's Fury for example. Both do high damage regardless of attack speed, allowing Crusaders to use slow but strong weapons to really good effect.

Which supports my overall point. I would get a significantly higher benefit if I were able to stack Armor instead of AR, because my AR is already extremely high. Why are there gems for AR but not for Armor? It doesn't make sense to me.

Just wait for Sapphires next expansion. Or put Rubies into your gear.

On the note of gems i still think blizzard's original idea of having the jeweler give us the ability to socket items was better than it being one of the magical properties on an item. But that might just be my opinion :l

For example if you have a weapon without a socket, you almost HAVE to reforge it for a socket because of how much of a boost it is to your damage.

It's not even an "almost have to" kind of thing, you literally HAVE to get a socket on a weapon or else any other single weapon will beat it.

Yep forget the fact of possibilities of rerolling any other stat. IF it doesn't have a socket it HAS to have one. Bad game design.

Well it wouldn't bad bad game design if the jeweler let you socket an item without it interferring with the magical properties/reforging.

Then it'd just be like "Hey weapons are way better with a socket"(Obviously the other gems should also be more worthwhile so there is a reason to pick something else than emeralds for end-game gear) and not "Hey, if you don't reroll something into a socket your weapon sucks"

well ya, it'd be sorta like d2 where larzuk socketed your item choice Tongue though it was one time only per difficulty

I was excited when I looted this, but the game guide is bugged (STILL) and it apparently only rolls 6~10%, of which mine rolled 6%. A decent damage roll on it, and when they fix the elemental damage bug, it'll be okay, but I'd still need to roll a socket into it.

I'm looking to farm Act 2 caches to get some Illusory Boots for my Witch Doctor build, if anyone is up for that sometime. Maybe Act 3 as well to get an Envious Blade for a speed clearing build, and an Overwhelming Desire to see if its effect works with other sources of charm. I googled it and couldn't find an English answer. Had to browse through a Japanese thread and sift through people questioning if it worked with Mass Confusion/Phlebotomize/Addling Toads, and someone said it didn't work with Enchantress's charm. It'd otherwise be quite nice and an even better reason to switch from Well of Souls at higher Torment.

Looks like the Mystic Enchanting exploit is still working. Oddly enough, apparently it does NOT work with the Act 5 Mystic, although people are saying you have to Alt+F4 that act.
