eh i don't find that true my mother is 100% italian and every other italian person and not racist at all, the only form of hatred i really see is from people i know that are Sicilian that is older or got it from their parents(myself being half but not implying myself ) that hate on the Milans or any other northerner type italian.

....Except the stereotype that "Italians talk with their hands", is not a negative stereotype, so it be more like "Wow, I guess it's true Asians are so smart".

Is she born and raised in the US like my own not racist 100% italian mother? Go talk to anyone born in italy and you'll probably find an overwhelming hatred of germans, for example. To add onto this, that entire area is pretty much at the brink of civil war because of strong rooted vendettas between those races.

What the pineapple. It was an homage to the way Italians traditionally prepare food, as noted "...with a little more passion." It was a (racial) compliment, and a good one at that, because Italian cuisine is fantastic.

Also, soul food is good. Don't trust anyone who dislikes a good fried chicken leg or some collard greens.
