Attack Speed Reference
Fiel Wrote:Looks like a diablo II paladin's scepter. Yes, its speed really is 15.

Scepters suck. <_< Pics?

I really want to see that.

Whoa. o_o
Higher speed is slow... right?
That thing's got to take 3 or 4 seconds to finish? D:

Added the last of the values.

I am surprised to find that magicians get shafted on Speed Infusion. But then I remember how much non-Cleric magicians have been shafted the whole time. So I'm not really surprised.

Just have to grab those lame energy charge skills, which I'll probably try to do sometime next week.

Per his suggestion, I added normalized values to every known speed (the difference between a given weapon speed and Normal (6)). I did these all in my head, so I suspect there's no less than a few mistakes.

I also threw in question marks where there are unknown values and I'm going to set my sights on patching those holes in the near future. Might also change normalization to Fast (5), as Normal (6) doesn't seem to be a very common weapon speed.

Weapon speed is a variable. All variables can be changed.

Where does the game say "these skills can't be used unless Energy is on"? Is that a variable somewhere, or is it hard-coded into the client?

It doesn't say anything. It simply doesn't do the skill. I even tried near mobs!

My guess is that the relationship between Energy Charge and the energy skills is hardcoded into the client, unless this "action" property of the .wz files indicates that it's variable. I always thought that was tied to animation rather than any substantial calculations, but I could just as easily be wrong.

I'd estimate 1.15 seconds... yeah it's slow. >_>

I heard people saying that bow and xbow speeds are now all equal, is that true?

Could you double check Faster (3) + Speed Infusion 11? People have stated that it does in fact increase speed past Faster (2).

Unless it changed in .63, .64, or .65, that is a placebo effect.

People's words seem to be pointing to a change in .63; I forgot you don't have access to that :/

If it does then it's some Speed-Infusion specific thing, I've tried Faster(3) and Fast(4) weapons with Booster and they attack at the exact same speed still.

Does anyone still want energy orb attacks per minute?

Bui! -poke-

So it seems that brawler energy skills are now functional in some, er, implementations. Would it be possible for you to acquire one of these? Glitter

Crap. Forgot to get orb time.

Drain's speed would be nice to have as well.

I'm almost certain that at Faster (3), its speed is 450 milliseconds. Faster (2) I'm not so sure about, but I would assume it's 420.

Following from the facts that they're all multiples of 30, it's supposedly 133 attacks per minute Faster (2), and 420/480 millisecond values aren't even close (143 and 125 apm, respectively).
