gearing up was fun, kadala was nice and got me my first two legendary focuses, shame neither were the ones I wanted.

Score! I use Frost Hydra as part of my normal build, so this is great (especially in comparison to my old helm, which gave a chance for Mirror Image copies to duplicate when killed by mobs, but that almost never procced).

It casts Frost Nova 3 times/cast, about every 5 seconds.

Pretty fucking broken EXP "exploit". It's hilarious how simple it is and how easy it is to repeat.

Gave it a few tries and I can't seem to solo Malthael on T4. The Death Shrouds end up covering too much of the ground and I die at the last 400m HP. Had to lower it to T3 and didn't get a Reaper's Fear. FML.

I think his HP scales more than any other boss in the game with each difficulty. The difference between T1 and T3 alone is insane. He just takes far too long to kill for the extra drop chance to be worth it.

T1 is the only worthwhile difficulty if you're going for the material IMO. 31% is still a good drop %.

Found a conduit pylon in a rift, thought "awesome!" and started running.

Didn't come across a single enemy, then ran into a massive group of enemies the second that the buff expired.

Could be worse. Joe and I did a rift once where the Conduit Pylon was literally at the end of the rift. We got a small pack of 3-5 mobs and that was it.

I think I had Nemesis Bracers on at least?

Just did four T1 Malthael getting some quest legendaries for a friend, they got 3 Reaper's Fears between the two of them, I got none. Did one split run of bounties and I realised I have way too many rift keys, and I'll probably end up burning a few on Normal speed runs...

We've had that luck, me and a group of friends. Killed about 12 goblins or so. Warzechian Armguards also helps a lot. First we found the group of goblins, then we were like "hey, let's explore the rest of the dungeon looking for a Conduit Shrine".

conduit pylon happened for me right next to two treasure goblin packs. I felt like Harry Enfield.

That Stalgard's Decimator I found shreds everything up on my Barb. I'm able to do torment 1 pretty easily without any other decent gear. It's almost a little boring because all I ever use is frenzy with the occasional avalanche thrown in there.
