KhainiWest Wrote:Why do you have to pay? Pharmacy uses a proxy company that they use to load up their W2 forms. I could get it by mail for free, but it's like ten business days. It only costs like $7.99 to get a W2 PDF. Also they never mailed a paper copy of a W2 to my street address, they just sent an entire year of pay stubs to November although I had been working there through December until present. Weird. Also interesting is that turbotax allows you to take out their service charge for doing state fees from your tax return but they charge $24.99 for the service itself so it comes out to $54.98. No. :|

Ballroom dancing is amazing!
I love how you get to glide across the floor. I love the precision and detail required to be good at it. It's also nice that ladies wants to dance with me because it's fun.

Because we are filing our taxes separately instead of jointly I have to pay nearly $4k in taxes this year. Fuckin woo. Not stressful at all.

I'm sure there are more than enough people though who would love to file jointly with you. I'd prefer you pick the right one rather than rush and end up in something like the xxxxx-esque romance you went through with the void and breakup and heart ache.

A bit disappointed that my year old build only just barely hits the ultra specs for Watch Dogs. My CPU is under the requirement and my RAM is just hitting it. It shouldn't make a big difference though, hopefully. Although, I am looking forward to adding a second stick of RAM to make it 16GB, unfortunately, it's too expensive (it's $80!!). Thank goodness I got the first stick for free w/ my motherboard.

Watched the final ever episode of Being Human (US). Probably the most satisfying ending of a series ever, much more than the open-ended nature of how the UK series ended.
UK Spoilers
Amazing to think that I followed the series from the time it was an experimental pilot which i never thought would be made into a series. Then it got 5 seasons in the UK and a remake which lasted 4 seasons (and was way better). It's all over now though, which is kinda sad. At least it ended on the highest note possible.

Absolutely f'ucking DEMOLISHED that waves test. If I don't get a 100% I will be surprised (since the test explicitly stated what answers we should get).

There were four problems: nonlinear oscillator (given a potential for an ionic bond, basically just have to take derivatives. this one was a joke lol) coupled oscillators (two pendulums connected by a spring, find eqn of motion, frequencies, generalized coordinates. classical mechanics stuff) standing waves (reflection/transmission. had to use trig identities) and a Fourier transform. The more difficult formulas needed were given on a separate page but they were in the same order the questions used them so lol. average is going to be in the 60s like usual I bet. We had a quiz once where it was literally "take the 2nd and 3rd derivative and divide them" and WAY too many people were getting 2/10 like seriously i dont even |
