And then, as a complete reversal....this morning with my friend we got a rift that was one of those Tomb tilesets that you would find in the Oasis as a side quest...the entire thing was just a straight path that went up and to the right continuously. Over and over. It was the most boring map I've ever encountered. Actually took screenshots of this one simply because I was so baffled at it: http://imgur.com/a/MSyvN

Could be worse. There's been pictures of people getting maps that were one completely long straight path.

 Legendary Crafting Mats changes incoming

We've been keeping a close eye on player feedback regarding Legendary crafting materials (specifically their drop rates) as well as on our own internal data. Right now, we agree that the drop rates do feel a little low and somewhat prohibitive, particularly since crafting adds another layer of RNG to the mix. In an upcoming patch we're going to be buffing the drop rates for Legendary crafting mats by a fair amount, effectively bringing them in line with the drop rates for Death's Breath.

In case some of you may not have seen previous posts where we've shared the rates for Death's Breath, here you go:

Normal - 15%
Hard - 18%
Expert - 21%
Master - 25%
Torment 1 - 31%
Torment 2 - 37%
Torment 3 - 44%
Torment 4 - 53%
Torment 5 - 64%
Torment 6 - 77%

This also brings up another opportunity for clarity: While the drop rates for Legendary crafting mats do scale with difficulty, their scaling is independent of the Legendary drop rate bonus slider in Torment 1-6. /themoreyouknow

Definitely not intentional.

We are currently working on a fix for this and hope to have it out to you guys as soon as possible. I can't really make promises as to when or how (patch or hotfix) said fix will arrive but it's something we are aware of and are working on.

If T1 gives +15%, do Normal-Master give a rate increase if any, or it's going to be the same rate whether you farm Legendaries on Normal vs Master?

65% on T2 seems ridiculously high. Can't imagine T3/4/5/6.

Aww, I got loads of Legendaries from Demonic Vessels. I did think it odd that I was getting better stuff from them than from the chests right next to them

Found that beauty on my Wizard last night. Rerolled the +3667 Life per hit to +1091 Int for now. Will be nice until I find a 1H+Source that beats it which may take a while.

We have another +50% EXP Weekend here right now.

A blue on EU confirmed that the class balancing will happen before the next major content patch.

In other news, Legendary items are world drops, at least from chests and destructables, so if you're split farming, check each map, or at least each waypoint people have been in and press tab to make sure you didn't miss any. This doesn't apply to rares or blues though. I would like to do a bit more split farming as well as rifts if anyone is up for it, since I still want a few of those cache legendaries.

Got my first legendary from Kadala, got to level 100 Paragon and got a level 70 Nagelring with the maximum Magic Find (50%).

Really wish it rolled something not Impale so I could reroll the socket or VIT into crit chance instead.

Grueling 4 floor rift clear on T3 and I got that from a champion and a Forgotten Soul from the Rift Boss which takes way too long for this to be efficient for me.

Having the Flu is too stronk. Haven't touched my computer until just now so I know absolutely nothing of what's been going on today.

Is the +50% EXP buff actually working this time around? lol

ive been doing rifts left and right on T2/3 solo and I am just not finding squat... I average 1 legendary every 2 or even 3 hours. Gotta love that RNG.

I believe the T3+ Legendary rate was actually extrapolated under the assumption that it's a constant 15% per Torment level.

Aaaannnd I just found a cinder coat.



This makes Cluster bomb spam absolutely ridiculous paired with % resource reduction. I also have %fire skill damage from other sources so I can literally blast elite packs in seconds on T2 and T3.

Got a Salvation on my Crusader finally, but it rolled lowest healing, had Smite instead of Critical Chance, and 14% Block Rate.

Did one game of pub split farming on Normal. There was a Monk leeching in Silver Spire 2, for some reason he couldn't be kicked so I just killed him. Interesting though if you want to be a plum. Might try upping my Demon Hunter so I can get one or two more pieces of Marauder at least. I need more Forgotten Souls though so I can reroll these terrible legendaries I keep getting.
