Spent all evening studying for my software architecture late-midterm-who-is-he-kidding-it's-a-final tomorrow. I don't feel ready for it at all =[

omg, just had the hand of my life at blackjack.

I was playing at a Free Bet Blackjack. This means that all splits are free and all doubling is free (if you double on 9, 10, or 11 - you can double on any other hand but you'd have to pay). The catch is that if the dealer gets 22, it pushes everyone. I was betting $30/hand.

So the dealer had a 5 up. I was dealt two 8s. Am I going to split? Hell yeah. Split for free? YEAH.

So I split 8's. I was then dealt a 3 on a hand. 11 means that I get a free double, so I doubled and got a 6. Then on my second hand I got dealt another 8. YEAH ANOTHER FREE SPLIT NOM NOM.

New 2nd hand I get dealt a 10, and on the 3rd hand I get another 10. So now I have 18, 18, 17 on my hands. Dealer flips up a 15 and pulls a face card. BUST. I win 4x my money. Godly hand. So I won $120 on one hand.

Just came back from the best time of my life in San Diego, hung out with some buddies, went out on the town and just chilled.
10/10 would go again.

Rejected from the fourth out of five summer research applications.
Only response left is UC Davis, and then 10 or so applications through NASA directly for internship.

Man, this really fucking sucks =____=

I have to give my final presentation in an hour and a half.
Mildly nervous, yet oddly comfortable.

After today, classes are going to be a breeze.

Oh, and trying to leash-train my cat...cuz I'm weird like that and want to take her outside sometimes.

I'm gonna try Taco Bell breakfast in the morning. No one can talk me out of this.

My day featured another professional failure, which is pretty much par for the course now.

Today's a surprisingly good day for April Fool's!
Can't go into much details due to personal reasons but we're finally going to be moving soon. :3

My day featured another professional failure, which is pretty much par for the course now.

Oh, right. Had a sausage waffle taco. "Waffle" is a tenuous description. The Taco Bell waffle is to waffles as BK French Toast sticks are to french toast - vaguely similar and too crispy. Still, acceptable for $2 and my insides didn't explode, so that's nice. I also want to try an AM crunchwrap and a burrito or two.

My family threw out every food possible to switch to vegan lifestyle and I seriously thought we were going to switch.

Until my dad laughed halfway through and brought back all of our meat.

Got my grade back for my Linear mid term, 89. Very pleased, secured myself a B in that course pretty much which is super ok with me. Also got my Chem lab midterm grade, my partner and I got the highest grade in the class, a 79.

Returned safe from Japan, but I already want to back

Just finished my 16th hour of data collection / trying to figure out why the equipment wasn't working / etc for the chaotic pendulum lab. It's normally ~2 hours for data collection but me and my partner had to go and choose a lab that wasn't even setup yet and the TAs have never done it so we literally started from scratch. Got a week extra to finish/hand in our report but I sure as hell hope I get the extra credit for setting up a new lab

Finally spent my birthday cash from 6 months ago on a Samsung Galaxy tablet today. Shiny, shiny.

There's still a 36.36% correlation with Atkins to vegan life style. Although that correlation is 100% alphabetical.

Spring tour of the store tomorrow, and I think I did a bomb ass job of preparing the store for a visit. My SM has been very pleased with me and the work I've been doing, the store is getting completely recovered and zoned and looking great, our survey scores are going up, and our transaction scores are up to. We are even above the company percentage of email collection, where as a month ago we were in the bottom tier.

All this work is really getting to me though, I'm hella tired once this semester is over I think I'll sleep for a few days.

I have a 91 in intermediate microeconomics II right now. l0l

Was planning getting a haircut but it turns out my favorite barber wasn't there so had to reschedule.
