It's pineappleing hilarious that despite all their unorthodox (CHEATING) tactics Nexon employed, Mabinogi still lost.

Eat pomegranate for banning me WITHOUT WARNING from your forums in response to me calling you out on it, Nexon.

Considering 80% of the votes are likely from HMA, TOR and AWS it's probably worth noting the other site just cheated better.

In my opinion, its because bribing is taking away from the integrity of the contest. It's encouraging people not to vote based upon their true opinions of the two games presented, but rather because one game or the other is offering them free stuff to click a button. I could potentially play both games in my spare time and prefer game A to game B, but if game B is going to give me double experience to vote for them, I'm more inclined to vote for game B if I have any desire to play that game at all, even if I do slightly prefer the other one. This effectively invalidates the results of the poll (as far as "what is your favorite game" is concerned), and makes the whole thing rather meaningless.

Just my two cents.

they didn't bribe people* playing the game you only got like one message about the competition per week or something like that, and they offered nothing if they won/lost.

so i'd have to say they got unexpected help they didn't ask for, rather than cheating.

Curious about the secret reward we'll be getting.

Biggrin that's clever.

I'd say you have no way of proving it wasn't them themselves, any more than I do that it was Rolleyes

On the bright side; Not a damn do I give Biggrin

I'm simply stating what appears to have happened, not who did it, or why.

Because they're idiots. No other reason.

o.o ignoring the fact that your answer is irrelevant to what Jedward asked...
No. The site with the poll actually contacts developers and people for them to get their players involved however they can, they don't care about "the integrity of the contest" because it's irrelevant. The poll was already meaningless.

The old Republic and which are the other 2?. I'm curious.

But this was quite funny to watch, in a few mins they got around 1-2k votes, I guess some people really hate Nexon, I wonder what free stuff we lost.

Also, I'm quite confused about something, If AirMech is going to release a Warframe skin/Helm/whatever if Warframe wins, since there exists something called copy rights, I guess that Airmech people asked Warframe people for permission to use their models for that, and it's a type of bribing, not exactly for the Warframe community but the Airmech one.

I think the fact that the in-game notification that kept popping up constantly to no end might have something to do with the results. Rolleyes

Wow, that's sad. So, it was Nexon's 2x Zombie players vs The fury of tons of bots/people that wasted their time from the Indie "community"?.

It's really sad, because at least Nexon's players had something to win/get (And looks like it was something big based on Free mabinogi's VIP), whereas they just get a shiny tittle and some free publicity.

Well, if Nexon wants to be nice and destroy part of the bad reputation, they should give out the rewards even when we lost.

Also, I expected a LoL vs "something" Final... I guess Riot doesn't need it.

Because apparently Nexon is the ultimate evil, and the people that still play their games will jump on any possible chance to bash them, no matter how miniscule.

I had no idea leveling pets did anything useful so nah LOL

but saga 4 can apparently has the same effect

Since my character is still (relatively to the release of useful pets) new and I'll be honest, my knowledge about a lot of stuff in game is pretty..limited, the only pets I've been around to purchase is a few nimbus, and bone dragon but I skipped bone dragon because at their most recent re-release I had underestimated how useful they were. Since I only have clouds open for a split second to heal and maybe sleep, I don't think leveling does much for them..unless it maybe increases sleep duration? I've no idea, if you (or anyone else who plays mabi and reads this) could shed some light on the reasoning for leveling pets that'd be pretty cool for me

Pets skills and stats increase with level up.
The potential growth is entirely based on the individual type of pet, and the age of the pet.
Each pet gains a different stat bonus based on it's age when it levels, until they're older than 5 and stop gaining stats regardless of level.
All pets continue to ranks kills as they level, regardless of age.
Restful wind never gets more powerful, it's capped at level F on birth.
Nimbuses don't gain stats.

i think that their alleged "cheating" with the over the top campaign to get other games to vote for mabi probably backfired
their "cheating" probably provoked a more enthused reaction from the other game's community Glitter

whereas if they did nothing, they might have gotten over the line by just having a larger player base ( i assume mabi has a larger player base than the other one) Heart

also i predict we will get the 2x exp drop anyway. Biggrin well they always give it anyway so why would they do it just to spite us for not voting enough times Rolleyes

A guildee of mine was saying level 60 was where the pegasus mount got it's last rank of its rush attack or w/e. Does over 2k damage on summon.

Holy Shower is what it casts on Summon, not the Holy Rush, which is what continues to grow.
All pet-summon attacks cap at F.
