...It probably went up because normally after every patch, especially these big ones, (back from when I played, anyway) that a huge chunk of their resources would be banned/removed, which ultimately lowers the supply, while people want to buy more to keep up with the latest power creep/newest items, just to say they are first.

Basic economics.

Sigh, your ego is showing again. You might wanna take care of that because it's not as cute as you think it is.
He wasn't asking if the hackers are gone, you're fucking retarded.

Also, since you don't play, quit assuming that you know everything about the damn game.
Meso rate increased because of an exploit, causing the amount of mesos in the game to inflate.

Basic economics.

Patch the most used hack meso farmers use to farm mesos > Meso rate goes up.
Basic Logic.

When you go all personal you lose your credibility.

Besides the struggle of you creating a basic sentence, it was stated;

davyjonesx Wrote:So I heard the meso farmers got no hacks so all the bots should be gone?

"got no hacks", which means all hacks, but he was specifically asking "IF HACKS ARE GONE THEN BOTTING IS GONE RIGHT???".

So this is a sentence comprehension issue you have on your end, from your half ass attempt to show what he posted wasn't in fact retarded.

You do realize that I have more resources and just in general speaking, a great influence than probably most of the volunteers right? I don't have to play for the same formula to reoccur every goddamn year. In fact, your entire theory is false as the price of mesos' has actually been at a stable rate for the last two years. The reason for the increase is most likely, like every frekin big patch, is they lossed their resources from a mass banning of ridiculous IGN's, and the demand increased because of the new content.

So let me get this straight, you go on southperry, a website that typically doesn't have users who dwell in this crap, to state a question, that you yourself just answered as if a fact? Well I don't know what two bit website you use, but from the websites I just spoke with to entertain the notion, they have no botting issues. It's a loss of inventory from the last ban cycle with a higher demand for whatever reason you can muster that I dont frankly care or find relevant to begin with.

You want to talk about basic logic? You went on a thread to complain about how nexon hasn't changed since their letter htey give out every f`ucking year, and acted all accomplished as if you're the great fortune teller. You are complaining about problems that have been around since I f`ucking started and quite. The only illogical person in this room is the naive child who thinks things are going to change after 10 years of the same problems. Guess what, mesos' flunctuated like this during big patches like big bang too, it's not rocket science, in fact it's f`ucking predictable to those who pay attention.

SO before you question my intelligence, you should probably resign yourself, that you're possibly gullible, stubborn or just desperate for your lost cost fallacy to mean something. If it hasn't changed in 10 years, it's not going to change just because you tolerate it and play around it.

but the only real economics is "the prices will always be the highest the market can bear"

You would think so based on the fact that's it holds no real value (HEY ITS LIKE YOUR FIRST THREAD YOU EVER MADE HERE). The thing is, NX is a currency essentially, so a player has an option to purchase an nx card, or mesos'. Obviously the person is going to want to get the bigger bang for his buck. Ultimately it's the ratio of what the NX can do in the game(cubes/scrolls/gacha) that determine the amount the mesos will be charged. This also has an impact based on the fact NX cards get a higher demand after these patches, which in dealers either capping what you purchase, or telling you to come back later.

From my experience those are the two biggest influences to what mesos are valued at a base, incidents like this obviously create special circumstances which reaches an extreme inflation rather than the minor one normally experienced.

These lists used to mean something but Nexon decided everyone deserves a 2nd chance.. a 3rd chance and a 4th chance and so on.

One day they will be brought back to their former Glory but on this day, we hold our heads low in shame for what we allow Nexon to hand us.
