I think it's more along the lines of "I'm awake this late... Might as well get the box", and they just so happen to get lucky. I don't think very many people, if any at all, actually plan extensively for these kind of things.

I agree with this. There's no way i'm going to revolve my schedule around jumping on every possible opportunity for nexon to POSSIBLY f'uck up. Besides, rust remover > red cube anyway.

I live in the server time and am usually up at midnight, so there's no need for me to revolve my schedule around this

I don't live in server time and am usually up at midnight server time, so, same. I guess "revolving of the schedule" is an easily misinterpreted phrase.

I agree, but being an opportunist*... I would tend to think that it would lie towards the "smart" side.
