How was your day?

I think I might be slowly slipping back into a depression. Not sure if I should start talking my anti depressant pills just in case.

Aren't you supposed to take them regularly.

I've been going through the same thing lately, but it's mainly due to my anxiety. I'm getting a new job, so I hope having social interaction (I've pretty much just been sitting at home alone for the past two months after leaving my old job that I had for 2 years, and loved) will help with it. Usually when I'm feeling depressed, having social interaction helps me get over it. All of my international friends left out of the country which is pretty much why I am sinking back into a depression.

I hope you're able to find yourself lots of companions who will help you get out of your slouch.

I stopped taking them two years ago a year after my first depression because I don't want to be fake happy..

in other news, i changed jobs! Still in retail but its so much more fun to serve a customer here.. everyone is just so nice, even the customers...

Emotions are ephemeral. Not characteristic. For people suffering from mental illness though it is a chronic issue so they identify their emotions as being the latter. The antideps are supposed to balance you out. The people who take the reuptake inhibitors tell me that they have no lows, but also no highs so they feel sort of neutral all the time. The antideps are truthfully there for you to cope. If your emotions are getting in the way your proficiency to succeed and your success rate of surviving then you should be taken them consistently because going off of them can trigger a depressive episode or onset of mania. With a lot of people they build tolerance after being on a certain psychiatric drug over a long period of time, which means that your body has adapted to the drug and expects regular dosages to maintain a certain state of mind. In this sense, it's important that you stay on the medication to maintain a regulatory balance and to let your physician know if you think you may need a higher potency. Then again not a psychiatrist. Don't take anything I've said as clinical advice.

I hope so too! I just need to force myself to get out there more. That's what I did the last time I got over my anxiety and depression. I just forced myself into hanging out with people/leaving my house and it worked well. But then I just spiraled into a slum and I am going to try to get a new job to meet some new people. It's harder meeting people through my school because I'm not involved in much outside of classes... So maybe I should change that as well. I just kinda need social interaction to have a good mental health, so when I don't I just get sad..

Went to get my haircut, the woman cutting my hair was very friendly and talkative, and she spent a lot of time making sure she did my hair right. Then I got home and as soon as I looked in the mirror up close I realized she had shaved one of my sideburns WAYYYY shorter than the other, like, above my ear shorter, while the other one was the length I had been expecting. So I had to get a trimmer and shave it off to even it out.

It doesn't look that bad now, but seriously, not what I wanted

Picked my modules for next year this morning, I'm doing Introduction to Screenwriting (!) and Television Series: Narration/Engagement/Interaction for Film, and Metaethics and Greek Philosophy (Aristotle/Plato) for Philosophy. I am excited!!

also got my logic exam grade back, and I did so well in it that I could skip the second exam entirely and still pass the module this year overall

Dancing turns out to be REALLY F'ING HARD to learn as a lead. As a man, not only do I have to stay in time with the beat which is hard enough, but I have to be thinking of the next move, all the people around me (so I don't slam her into anything), and make sure she's having a good time.

Thisssss is going to take a while. But it's a challenge I'm willing to take on. I think it'll be worth it.

ot: im dead exhaust from the flu... its slowly going away but im still getting migraines and tiredness. /sobs/

Also im not sure if i /like/ the Mont Blanc Legend. Im torn between that and Jo Malone's Vanilla Anise.... Has anyone ever tried wearing Jo malone's Vanilla Anise for an entire day ?? If only i could afford Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.............................
