These last two pages have effectively killed my intent on buying cubes to tier up my epic stuff to unique...

I guess I'll just use the nx on premium boxes and hope to get some goodies for my other characters.

Why would it not surprise me that miracle time somehow does not recognize the new cubes.

46 Black Cubes, and no rank-ups from Unique.
11 Red Cubes, same story.
20 Bonus pot cubes, my secondary weapon stayed rare. T__T

Think I'm glad I didn't buy any cubes.

I used 1 pack of black cubes and 1 pack of red cubes on my axe/secondary (they both started from unique). With red cubes i got nothing, but with black cubes both of them went up to legendary in less than 5 cubes, and no the black cubes did not give out a message when they tiered up to legendary.

Welp, time to stay away from attempts at ranking up until that's addressed like they said it would be in "a better maple"

How do you conclude it isn't broken for black cubes from that video? One person's lucky streak proves nothing.
I looked carefully at two times in the video (2:16, 3:12) where he got from rare to unique. There was no blue message for the player making the video (IsaiahBAD), it just seemed like it because someone else got lucky simultaneously and their blue message popped up. (Good evidence for time-dependant server-wide RNG value being used)

I did get one unique to go legendary, but I don't think there was the any message like there would be for superior cubes. If its true that black cubes never gave the blue messages, then I think its likely Nexon forgot to add them to the event list, and they were not doubled at all.

I can asure you one of four of my unique > legendary gets a blue message and I only get rank up with black cubes. If I'm not mistaken, the message will only appear if you get 2x rank-up on one cube, so maybe my stuff is supposed to rank up twice but can't since it gets to the highest tier in one rank-up.

It isn't possible to jump from rare > unique outside of a Miracle Time event, and his equip did. It wouldn't be possible to rank up twice in one cube unless the event was working.

Also, just burned through about 80k NX trying for two useful lines of legendary bonus pot. Ha, nope. Not a chance. F'uck bonus potential ended up at the same amount of %ATT but lost my vaguely useful 2nd line. Sigh.

Idk, i got the blue message twice doing bonus potentials, in 35 bonus pot cubes, i got 3 things unique and several epic.

3 things went to legendary using 99 black cubes.

43 red cubes NOTHING ranked up.


I don't know enough about bonus potential to see if it's worth going to legendary on my weapon or not...

EDIT: Actual cube amounts, wow that is actually pretty crappy, cept the bonus pot.

The funny part is that we always said that bonus potentials cubes were the crappy ones, the fact that they seem better means that the new cubes are even crappier... nexon scam less please

Cubes are one of the biggest scams I've ever seen in terms of f2p stuff being sold anyway. You get what is coming to you if you buy them, it's hardly a secret the chance of getting something useful out of them is low,especially for how much they cost.

60 black cubes and 40 red cubes later, nothing ranked up Unique>Legendary during cube time :x At least i got some decent-good potential on my unique stuff, so it wasn't a total waste x0x

I have no idea if it means anything (probably doesn't but who knows), but the person in the video didn't have the cube thing that takes you to the cash shop on the left side of his screen (with the notifiers). I noticed mine missing last night, but my friends said that they all had one.

I had that x2 cube thing there too.

Seems uprank rates from anything between rare and unique were relatively high, but getting to legendary had next to no change. I personally used over 400 cubes and only got 4 upranks to legendary. I know several people who, after 100-300 cubes, also got no upranks to very few upranks to legendary. What ever happened to upranking every 30-50 cubes with blacks WITHOUT miracle time? How are we suddenly at a 100 cube per uprank average?

I know I said I wasn't cubing, but people told me it was high chance of getting to unique if you had rare or epic, so I broke down and gave in.

Total cubes: 2 master cubes +12 meister cubes and the rest RED, in packets of [12+12+11+11+11+4 = 61 red cubes]

Results: Only had 1 tier up, but it was on the thing I wanted most [wasnt aiming for legendary]

Emblem: epic to unique on my very first cube from red cube. Cubed some more and got 6% att.
Reinforced gollux earring [unique]: 0% str to 9% str
Superior gollux ring [epic]: 6% to 9% str
Hat[unique] 6% str to 15% str
Belt [epic] 6% str to 9% str
Top [unique] 6% str to 12% str

And still got 10 cubes left for when we get the unique scrolls, so I can turn the reinforced ring to unique and cube from there. Total gained is 24% str and 6% att, def not bad ^^Especially considering I only bought 24 cubes and the rest were from mesos.
