South Park: The Stick of Truth
#21
[COLOR="#cc8899"]Darts are hilariously OP on a Thief. Bleed damage on attack, 3 hits per attack, combos amazingly with backstab (bonus damage on bleeding targets) and a speed potion (2 attacks instead of 1).

I also took a perk to do bonus damage to bleeding targets...and a sticker on the darts that causes an extra tick of bleeding on each "perfect" hit...

Really enjoying it so far. My only complaint is the magic spells that Cartman teaches you. At least on the PC, the controls are very unresponsive, and the tutorial is taking like 20 failed attempts. It says to hold down the left mouse button and then press A and D alternately, but it's not working at all. sometimes it works when I hold it, sometimes it works when I spam it. But if it works, it won't work the next time I try and do it.

EDIT: and now I JUST figured it out, it's like tuning a radio and you are looking for the right channel. wish i'd known that earlier.

[COLOR="#cc8899"]My bigger problem is with the button mash that's required to get past a certain point. I cannot adequately express my contempt for button-mashing...

Also, a warning: bosses on hardcore are a LOT harder. Enemies with 500+ armor are...frustrating, at the least.

The only reason why you wouldn't get this game is if you've seen <5 episodes of South Park in your life.

I've watched a couple seasons worth, didn't managed to watch the new one yet. Just wondering for story's sake.

I've watched literally 5 episodes and bought it based on the preview videos which i found pretty funny.

I just now finished the story, and I'd say its worth getting. I mean, in my opinion some of the humor kinda dropped off nearer the end but then that's just my opinion.

not sure i liked how to execute the farting moves though. really weird controls.

Finished the game and all the sidequests. unfortunately though, I couldn't collect all the CHINPOKOMON or all the achievements, because a lot of them can be missed.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, though it get a little frustrating at the end.

It honestly felt too easy or too hard at almost all points for me. Kyle is ridiculously strong in any normal fight and 5stacks of bleed on any boss was enough to rip chunks of their health off (and easily done in a single attack as a Thief). The hardest fight I had was vs

i found that hard too till i did it a couple of times and realized a strat to use.

Honestly i found the best way to play as my Mage was max the fire skill to burn off their armour points, and stick bleeding and gross out on your weapons and just stack it all up. Burn + 5x Bleeding + Puke wrecked everyone whilst Butters healed.

I definitely preferred Butters over the other 3 primary buddy choices (Jimmy felt really lacking in offensive ability, Stan couldn't hurt bosses for a while after I got him (he did become useful later when he could actually hurt enemies, but by then he was always outclassed by Kyle or Kenny for AOE)...Kenny was decent, but so many things were resistant to Gross that I stopped really using him for anything (especially considering how weak his bow attacks were). Kyle hit like a truck with his "elemental" attack and Rain of Arrows would almost always kill or cripple most normal enemies. I didn't ever really use Cartman, but he seemed like a liability with his extremely low health.

Something super funny and detailed about Cartman is that if you used a healing item on him, it had double effectiveness, because he's a fat bastard who eats 2 helpings rather than one. (though it only uses up one item). I only saw it happen with Cheesy Poofs, but I imagine it happened with the others too.
