Diablo III: Reaper of Souls

I'm really enjoying the game, much more than I did the first time I played (shortly after release).
Got my first plans, which in turn allowed me to craft my first set item, cool stuff :3

Also the 50% bonus exp is broken as hell. my brand new character is level 37 and i'm about halfway through act II. (my previous highest level character finished act IV at level 40)

The mobs scaling with your level is probably playing a fairly large factor in that as well.

Is Asheara's Uniform plan anything good?

It's a weird as pineapple level 52 set. The boots are really good for Monk/Demon Hunter since it autorolls DEX and IAS. The gloves roll STR, and the Shoulders roll INT for God knows what reason, but are higher in those slots than any rare roll possible, as far as I know. Pants are VIT though, but pants naturally roll high VIT. Not sure at that level range, it's probably higher than rare drops. Wouldn't really recommend it for a full set.

I just did level 9-58(almost 59) in about 2 hours and pretty much didnt leave the first act. I found so many Legendaries along the way too... it's simply amazing how some simple tweaking can make this game fun again

Just 2 hours? Explain. I'd love to only spend ~2 hours per alt to get to 60. Do you keep resetting quest? Do Torment I? What's your route? etc?

Yep just around 2 hours. Had 2 friends run me through T6, which was netting me a level every 1-2 mobs in the lower levels in Act I from the very start.

Oh, well that doesn't exactly count as a viable method then. As much as I want to get the achievements, I can't really drag SP people along repeatedly to help cap my characters.

In the meantime just to let people know, with my Paragon 32, Cain's Set, and a Ruby, I've able to get a level 60 in ~12 hours. Not the fastest, but still better than before where it must've been ~40~60 hours. Not sure how fast everyone else here is capping any alts during this Community Buff event.

You can craft them if you buy/have the plans for them.

and since it gives a good amount of extra exp, i can only assume its all the money

So I guess I have a few infernal machines left over from when I used to play. Would anybody be interested in forming a party to kill the bosses and/or contribute your own machines?

I almost have enough keys to make 3 machines. I just need to kill the A3 keywarden a few more times.

So given at least adequate gear to survive Torment I, I was leveling at CoTA at about 6-10 minutes per level from 54-60, assuming I found the cave as quickly as possible. CoTA confirmed as a viable grinding location for leveling as well.

Also with this 4th 60, only got Witch Doctor left, then time to trek through the painful process of leveling a 2nd of each class. May abuse CoTA as much as possible for this.

Forgot to post this before capping Wizard. It'd made my year if I got this tradeable, but still amazing find.

So I've decided to test out my theory of power leveling a character from 1-60 in CoTA. Screenshot is just proof of how much time I clocked.



So it took me almost 6 hours, which is a drastic improvement over the average 12-13 hours I've been clocking on my Monk and Wizard. Some details on getting to 60, I took advantage of all the essentially free craftable gear from Haedrig so I could more or less keep up with the scaled monsters. I had my obligatory +% EXP gear and a socketable 1,000 DPS level 45 bow for raw damage. I managed to stay at Torment 1 until ~55 where I was dying too often. I then dialed it down to Masters, and from 58-60 I dialed it down to Expert. I'd like to tell Diablo 3 reddit about my findings, but I have no idea if this can leak out and cause a nerf to CoTA.

This also means 5 characters left to cap, meaning ~30 more hours of grinding at this rate. Time for Sleepy Hollow.

I doubt they would nerf CotA. The place has been a viable grinding spot since 1.0.8 days and is how a lot of people got to P100 pre-2.0. It's just proving to be a lot more viable now due to Torment giving loads of bonus EXP.

Oh, I got one of those yesterday too. Mine has 26% bonus exp though. It's awesome.

I'm willing to DPS carry CotA with my Wizard on T5 or T6, provided whoever is there can tank, preferably a Monk with Cyclone Strike. It otherwise takes too long and the Elite is pretty iffy on 6. Otherwise, we can run a lower number if anyone wants to sometime.
