Damn it. I don't believe anyone actually took more than a week to learn bankai in bleach anymore. Thousands(?) of years of training to get bankai plus a minimum of another 10 before you're supposed to be able to control its power my ass.

Also, Rukia using bankai for some reason gives me the same image as a chipmunk wielding a bazooka. It just feels sort of uncanny.

Kubo is writing Bleach in a rush after reading lastest champter's feedback.

He found out everyone hated Byakuya coming in and saving Rukia, so he gave Rukia the spotlight back. Gotta commend him on the way he played it out though.

Does anyone else find themselves caring less and less about each subsequent chapter that gets released? I'm getting bored.

There are two things in this manga that we have been waiting for for too long. 1) Ichigo and 2) confirmation on the identity of that mystery guy that saved them in Hueco Mundo.

Everything else that doesn't involve Kenpachi or Kyōraku is filler fighting imo.

Both Yachirus hyped since day one to be incredibly badass. Unohana dies(?) to power up Kenpachi and now Yachiru is just there so Kenpachi can come.

Damn it.

they finally explained to us (somewhat) about ichigo's lineage (mother & father) BUT, they didnt explain how he was BORN, and born with his own shinigami powers too.

ichigo's never really had "skill" he powered up by fighting a thousand battles (that first time), but now he's dual wielding? so when did he have time to train? this hurried ending is gonna be infamously bad, or unbelievably surprisingly good.

God that was a boring chapter. Good to see Rukia killed that guy. Bring on Kenpachi!

I imagine those scenes with Rukia would look incredible animated if the anime was still airing. She froze everything around her.

I'd also like for Yachiru to show us some moves, that guy is V, almost at the bottom of the alphabet so he might be defeatable by a strong vice captain. At the very least I hope those 2 do something before anyone else shows up.

I'm not convinced the letter is relative to the power. The wrestler who was S beat a whole bunch of vice captains, plus 2 full captains on his own, after all.

It might actually mean something for the first 10 or 5. In any case its obvious Kubo nerfed those 2 captains/Hisagi in order to feed Renji a cool entrance.

I was really enjoying the chapter before Yachiru started explaining her abilities. Kinda took away from the atmosphere. I don't really like her zanpakutou's released form either. I thought "hitting even though I missed" was a cool concept, but it turns out invisible spirits are just following/ahead of her? Welp, it's an okay ability. I just hope she keeps it on invisible mode more often then lol. Knowing how it works behind the scenes is still nice though. Edit: Hmm, actually, it might grow on me. I probably need to see more of it to judge.

What does Yachiru mean about Ken-chan not coming back? D; Loved that panel btw. Oh, and I guess this is neglected character showcase time, not Kenpachi hype. Yay!

And lol at Gwenaellee being a hypocrite and calling Yachiru a monkey.

I hope Isane does something. Choujirou is redeemed and possibly also Omaeda, so she's the only one left. :/

I also would have preferred Yachiru's sword to be more cute or badass looking than that monstrosity. Anyway, what someone said in Mangastream seems to be true though, Yachiru is to Zaraki what Zaraki was to Unohana. She's probably the next Kenpachi in line.

She just learned Bankai so its kind of logic (although Renji and Ichigo learned Bankai in a day and could use them without any backlash, I wonder which one is the irregular then).

her "real" shikai lowering her body temperature is a backlash from "using it properly"
her bankai is backlash because "reasons"

rukia was/is always the irregular. not strong enough to kill an average hollow rukia; illegally give your powers to a random passer-by rukia; hogoku-special-giggai keeps getting weaker rukia; finally gets her full power back, still loses rukia; gets a power up from "Training" and STILL loses rukia; finally gets bankai and wins.... this is irregular for her track record.
