How was your day?

One of the best weekends I've ever had. Spent with my girl, saw the Lego Movie which was really good and to cap it all off last night I did this:



I've had less than an hour of sleep last night but I feel like I have so much energy. Very Happy.

So, I didn't post about this when it happened, but a week or two ago, I followed this guy home after class and told him I liked him. Before you get the wrong idea, I wasn't like, stalking him, we were talking and stuff. I'm still worried about the repercussions; things seem normal, but I've never been particularly good at reading people.

School's been getting pretty busy. I've only recently realized that I've done pretty much no programming, except once to create a randomly generated maze thing for Modern Computer Games, since the beginning of this semester. A majority of my classes are more theory oriented, which I guess I enjoy.

I do hope I can bring my grades up. My first two years here were pomegranate. I was lonely, I never went to class, and last winter, I pretty much stopped doing assignments altogether and failed like everything. I screwed myself over and I'm missing out on a lot of opportunities now. Hell, this was supposed to be my last semester, and I guess I'm feeling pretty sad about that.

But more importantly, there's less than a month 'til semi-formal, and I don't have anyone to go with!

Stared at DNA models for an hour then read about evolution, all while listening to the heavy metal band Dissection. Now its time to read papers!

It was pretty good. It was finally really warm after being a winter of constant 10 and below temperatures. Had formal introductions today and that's always fun, also got to take care of my Spanish profe's dogs for a couple hours while she was in a meeting. They were pretty fun.

I was nearing the end of my trip to the gym. I had just finished my third of four sets of deadlifts and felt like I could not go on. I begged the powers above for a way to get through this, and then like magic my music changed to Brittany. It was at that moment I knew.

I had to work, b'itch.

Gave my dad a list of the sites I most procrastinate/wastetime on to block from our router ^^

Got a call back, second interview with District Manager is tomorrow at 1. I don't know if anyone else landed a second interview, but I think I have this. Wow, I'm gonna be a manager.

I got a job which pays well but it's only 10 hours a week so I'm looking for another job to fill the rest of my time.

District Manager interview was today, went rather well. I got the job, effecting Sunday I will be the Night and Weekend Customer Experience Manager.

Pay rate increase to 10.35/hr, in reality that's a pretty crappy pay but compared to Michaels starting wage it's a hell of a lot and will definitely help me out.

Pretty decent overall despite this customer was being a b'itch while at work.

CRAZY day at work, and someone backed into mom's car at the post office. :/

Getting accolades left and right at work. If I don't get promoted I will be pleasantly surprised.
