It's ok, but is meditation always in the calculations for AMs? When you check meditation it does nothing to the numbers for an AM.

Yeah. If you check Sharp Eyes, it doesn't do anything for archers. I'm just assuming that characters will take advantage of their own buffs as much as possible. If you enter a value for magic attack from potions that is greater than 20, it will know not to count Meditation.

On that note, I need to add Rage.

Based on your info i made a list and tell me if you agree with it.

This is with SE and onyx apple. SI is only used for Bucc.

NL=199
BM=176
Corsair=175
Hero=149
DK=145
MM 199k snipe=137
MM 99k snipe=127
Bucc=120
Paladin=110
Shadower BS+AS=104
Shadower SB+BS=89
F/P AM=65
i/l AM=59
Bishop=49

Basically this is the order of whos strongest to weakest.

Not sure what you did for Corsairs - did you average the ship and Rapid Fire? That's a bad idea - unlike Buccaneers, which can transform exactly half the time, it is very hard to get an idea of how long a Corsair can stay in the ship. It depends on the location, on the level of the Corsair, and on the control of the Corsair.

You should uncheck the Fire and Ice boxes, it makes the AMs stronger when using their main single target attack skill. I'm going to change the magic formula used shortly but it's:

Corsair (Ship) - 213
Corsair (no ship) - 138
F/P (LUKless) - 73
I/L (LUKless) - 67
Bishop (LUK) - 49

I'm getting, with Apples, a Corsair needs to stay in Battleship roughly 72% of the time to outdamage a NL with SE and Apples. Let's assume 3/4, to be safe.

Hey uhm, can you please remove the read-only security from the cells, or post the security pass you added to your .xls file? I'dd like to play around with some numbers for different levels / stat equips / etc.

Well i was basing this on HT where battleship will probably only last not even 50% of the time. Your right about mages.

Well then you'd also have to stick 1760/1840 in for defense, or a similarly high number that averages the defense of all the parts of HT. It hurts NLs, Corsairs, and Buccaneers the most. And I wouldn't say probably not even 50%, that sounds like a wild guess. I'd wait for some 16x Corsairs to start HTing and wait for their opinions.

Yeah, I think I'll just unlock everything except the front sheet next time around. If I get bored and have some time I'll put up the next version today, otherwise it'll be up tomorrow.

Through you experience, which class would you say is the number 1 best bosser?


It really depends on how well your character is funded, but lets say using the gear you posted, who would be the best bosser damagewise. Now im not talking about weak bosses like pap, pianus, bigfoot, im talking major boses like HT, zak and any new major boss thats coming out soon.

Can you unlock just everything? Because I want to try to add a "party configurer" below your main sheet, and i wanna try to add bereserk and stun mastery control elements to the front sheet too. Smile

I can put a checkbox for Berserk if you want it, but the front sheet stays locked. I dunno why you'd want to calculate stun mastery in; anything that isn't bossing related would mean consideration of Venom and a crapload of other stuff.

If you really want to, you can make your own sheet. Or hack my spreadsheet, I don't care o_o

that is not a good question to be asked. It depends alot on player skill, skill build, among other stuff.

So uh...

Yeah. Busy busy busy. Also a lot of drama going on in-game, but I won't talk about that here.

Current list of changes:
-Magic damage formula changed
-Rage added
-Ifrit fixed
-Some things cleaned up and less confusing
-Using 12 ATT and 20 MAG for pots for default comparisons, so well, Rage and Meditation do nothing.
-Unlocked everything but the front sheet. You can create your own sheet and do stuff there if you want to mess with the data, but I like my analysis sheet the way it is and I don't want it corrupted, even on other people's computers.

What else needs to be done? I have a feeling this will be the final version until progress is made on the Attack Speeds, so I want everything covered.

Figure out a way to sort them in descending order somewhere.

I personally wouldn't default to 12 ATT and 20 MAG. Sure, there's no reason not to, but not everyone bothers.

I don't want to skew Heroes to seem more powerful than they are o_o Their damage will look higher "without Apples" but in reality, since most people that aren't using Apples are going to be using some kind of ATT pot, Rage and Dragon Blood won't have any effect.

Also added Dragon BloodHex of the Beholder (15 ATT).
