<b/>Eureka!

Here in Dr. Bing's Lab - that's right, MY lab - I’ve reverse engineered the cellular structure of the latest batch of bugs, and I have completely eradicated them as of February 12, 2014! I’m one step closer to my goal of complete bug extermination, but my robot minions are still analyzing data on these other bugs.

Functionality:
  • Maps with Cassandra, Gaga, and Maple Admin should no longer have excessive lag.
  • Players on alliance worlds are now able to participate in the RED Thank You Event.
Class-Specific:
  • The Silent Crusade quest ‘A Cry for Help’ is now available for Zero, Hayato, Kanna, and Jett characters.
  • The quest ‘Supporting Heliseum Reclamation HQ’ is now available for Kanna, Hayato, and Jett characters.
  • Jett characters now receive the Hero’s Will skill upon completing their 4th Job Advancement.
  • Hayato, Kanna, and Jett characters are now able to receive the ‘Excessively Charming’ quest. (Please note: This quest is only available after completing the 2nd job advancement)
Quest:
  • The cutscene for quest ‘Kobolds… for real?’ can now be skipped.
  • Beast Tamers are now able to complete the quest ‘How About a Fish-Witch?’
Items:
  • The ‘Premium Surprise Style Box’ now has a 90 day duration.
  • Rewards from the ‘Beast Tamer Style Box’ are now tradeable.
Text:

  • The description for the ‘Seal Pillow’ item now accurately states what it can be equipped over.
  • The description for the skill ‘Lightning Charge’ is now free from text issues.
  • The description for the item ‘Solo Ring’ is now free from text issues.
  • The description for the quest ‘Kaede Conqueror’ no longer incorrectly mentions that it is repeatable.

Wow Glitter it's true!

They still lag more than other maps, but a hell of a lot less than they used to. Even my weakest comp, that used to freeze up completely in such maps, can now be used in them. This is happy news indeed!

I certainly didn't have this problem at all but I'm glad for those who have bad computers.

This is certainly good news. I didn't get any insane lag from the three NPC's at all until the RED patch, so I'm glad that they're finally reducing the lag at the very least.

It wasn't too bad on my main PC but my old backup one would nearly die if I spawned in a map with them in it. Rolleyes

Fixing town lag is pretty huge.

So that took the majority of the update time? Rolleyes

It has nothing to do with how bad a computer is. I had a beyond godly computer and it did it. I had very weak computers do it less than another computer/laptop. You were just lucky.

I could be in FM in windia/sciana and not lag at all but would because of them crap NPCs.

Really? I hope that it improved now that it's been fixed.

I have a very powerful processor and large RAM on my desktop so the computer specs more or less have something to do with the lag.

Earlier when I went into the Event map I didn't lag at all. It was pretty laggy before this patch though, even for the PC I use.

Intel Core i7-4770K and 8GB RAW isn't crap , everything else is top notch too. It wasn't bad lag but still lag compared to anywhere else in Maple, period.
