I might be reading too much into it, but it seemed to me as a ploy to boost approval from people nostalgic of 80s/90s funk rock.

we all know which team was legally more high that the other one now(cause you know, both states have legal recreational use)

However The Chilis were there, and that I approve of.

I enjoyed the drum solo a bit, and that short period of dancing, but other then that the entire game was lame.

Very few good commercials; usually a majority are to rave about or funny. Too many car commercials, too many lame humor; it just sucked.
As you said, singing was hard to hear, voice blurred at times, and seemed a little out of place.

I was more entertained by the outrageous win then the actual entertainment, and that mainly because I bet on the hawks and everyone at the party were laughing their asses off every time the hawks pulled off something. Day to remember.

kinda sad, but i couldn't watch a single ad, panama replaces them with their own, so no "superbowl ads" for me Sad

that third quarter beginning kick though, when that pomegranate turned into a touchdown, that's when i knew it was GG NO RE for them, how do you let that fucking happen?

Lemme fill in the blanks for you.

Car Ad.
Car Ad.
Car Ad masquerading as a regular Ad.
Ad that would have been funny 15 years ago.
Car Ad.
Car Ad.
Movie Ad.
Car Ad.
Car Ad masquerading as a regular Ad.
Car Ad.
Unnecessary Slow Mo Transformers Movie Ad (Yes another one, ugh).
Car Ad.
Car Ad.
Terrible Beer Ad.
Car Ad masquerading as a regular Ad.
Car Ad.
Army Ad.
Car Ad.
...Need I go on?

Exaggerating a little bit but there were SO MANY Car ads, and they were all freaking awful. I think there was a total of three acceptable commercials during the entire game.

To be fair, the last ad break's two commercials were good (A Budweiser one with the horses, and then a good Doritos one IIRC), but if they were saving the best for last we got screwed because there were no mass timeouts for the last two minutes because the game was already over 30 before.

You forgot the Church of Scientology ad.
And the car ad a few minutes later that looked like yet another CoS ad.

It's much more entertaining to watch a neck-and-neck race than to see something that had already been won by the second quarter. The Broncos just weren't even there.

by the third quarter all my entertainment came from "let's see how they score a touchdown this time!
