Same reason I couldn't get into KDnF; I like my stuff in english. Half the fun(well maybe a quarter) of playing dfo was reading the quests and stuff; at least for me. Also, not sure how bad it is for CDnF, but KDnF patching is hell. I fell behind on patches cause school and I went away for a week in winter break, and I never had time to patch it again. I can't keep my computer on all night to patch it either.

Gotcha. Well, Auxilium is continuing to work on the MoDFO 4.0 (English Patch) for the game. The current version 3.2 is decent, but you're right, the quests and lore are important for such a game. It never bothered me, though. Patching isn't bad at all, though. Assuming you have broadband internet, of course. Got mine done within an hour and a half running at around 400Kb/s. Also, I never lag unless it is prime-time and I'm in a populated server with channels busting at the seams.

Oh dang. I would really use an English patch for CDnF. Haven't touched that game in a long while, but aiming to go back and level that Launcher of mines once I finish my backlog of GUNDAM animes so I have nothing else to watch.
