You can minimize it to the window that almost all classes share, by clicking on the <- button.

Stopped for now with the streaming at Lv.33.
Overall I find it a very interesting class, and above all, it has something MapleStory has needed for a long time: Class variance. There's so many skills, and the way it's built up you cannot possibly max everything. I believe you may be able to get to the end of every tree, but you'd have to be at least 245 or so. You need at least 190 skill points to get to the bottom of a single animal's skills (and the final skill). I think it's 180 for the Bird and Cat, however combined that's still 740 skill points. At 250 you'd have 750, but that's not including the first ten levels which don't have any points so really the max you get is 720. Even if you could get to the bottom of every animal I don't think each tree MAXES at 190/180 points, but I could be wrong I haven't done the math yet. Regardless, even at 200, it gives so much potential in a single class, and while I'm sure there will be the "do this" build people will make up, there are still other options available which is very, very good. I haven't seen anything of the mysterious boxes that supposively give SP. I've only noticed picking up RED's D cubes and some event item that gives free RED coins. It seems that concept was abandoned in the middle of CMST, or JMS decided to not use it, which I am happy for because it sounded dumb as hell. Maybe they do still exist though, I haven't really paid too much attention to my items yet. Overall I like the Panther the most, because he has great mobility while doing some mean damage output, but the Bear will obviously be the best for bossing because the panther's attacks move you around too much (at least so far). You don't unlock the bird until 30, and the cat until 50, so I don't really have much to say about them yet. I haven't put any points into the bear yet either, however that's mostly because you lose all your mobility when you switch to him which would just make it too annoying to train with. That being said, I've seen some people with him and he seems pretty decent for DPS. He can...I think fart a fiery AOE that sticks around much like a Fire Mage, and his skill icons are hilarious so I like him without even using him (The game tells you when you reach the level req for skills and gives you a giant version of the icon on the screen). We'll see how it goes. Unfortunately I have work tomorrow, so it's likely there will be a Lv.120-200 video before I get anywhere near 120 because GMSers are grind whores (no offense, but I saw that Lumi stuff). As a note: I didn't really pay attention to this thread before now. I don't like spoiling the class before it's released for the most part...because half the fun in it is finding out about the class as you go, so I deliberately avoided most of this thread. I saw a couple posts here and there that I responded to (like the boxes), but I stayed away from as much class detail as possible.

According to the GMS patch notes: Quote:An envelop will appear over your head whenever you level between 11-150 to quickly take you to the reward window. The SP item itself is a potion with an R hanging off it. Unless you mean to say that JMS removed them from that list, which would suck for JMS Beast Tamers, to say the least.

Razmos Wrote:They are in the reward UI, have you been accepting your rewards for every level? it's a reward for every level from 11 to 150. Yeah that's not happening in JMS. The only level up reward I've received so far was at 30 with the free mage gear that all new classes get at 30. There will probably be some at 40, 50, 60 and 70 as well, or at least some increment of some sort. I did get a box that had three hair coupons, although I don't know why I needed three. Even so, unless you didn't mention the whole part of that event, it doesn't specifically say that you'll be getting SP potions. It just says "Gifts" which could be anything. It could even be the same box but without the SP potions. Edit: Just read the event notice on the site and it does say Animal SP Potion for you guys. I can log in and check but I have not noticed any sort of reward every level at all in JMS. SP Potions are a stupid concept. I don't know what Nexon was thinking. Edit #2: Just re-logged into my character and nope...nothing. Never noticed anything at all and I have no special reward or anything. Unless it requires doing some quest I ignored to activate the event or the distribution of the boxes, then JMS does not have that. It MAY be possible that they're giving out the extra SP a different way. Maybe at the end of the questline you get free X SP, or maybe something else is going on. Nexon JP is typically good to their players, so I imagine they found a better way to handle that other than "RANDOM SP GOOOOOO," so for now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I could also easily be blind, MS has a tendency to hide things on me. I checked the Event List, and saw nothing that is like that event, however the event list also only shows a maximum of 5 items and it could have easily been the unlisted on the larger events.

Well, I wonder what the details of the guardian contract were, hope I did not just trade my soul away.

Lovely. Finished the tutorial and my AP didn't get reset.
12 STR, 5 DEX Beast Tamers all around! Same thing happens if you skip the tutorial.

Anyone wanna place bets on how long it'll take for an exploit to be found with the free gifts?
(specifically looking at the RED cube for 101~150)

I only got to play 5 minutes of Beast Tamer before I had to go out to school so I can only say for certain...
Arby made me hungry with his dialogue.

You get a free cape at level 20 by accepting the "Cash Shop Tutorial" quest. All it requires you to do is enter the cash shop and then leave again.
The cape: ![]() It's really nice, perfect for anvilling. Has no stats though.

very interesting class. I am so overwhelmed by the seemingly endless skills.

Eka's mobility is insane. Max Vertical Draft goes so high, that if you land at the same height you started from, you will take fall damage.
