RED update thoughts and feedback

I thoroughly enjoy Mesoranger DDR. Does anyone know what the reward for defeating the enemy is? My team never seems to be able to defeat it, I can get S in Hard mode while my entire team gets B's in Easy mode. Also, would an SS at a lower difficulty equate to more damage with the FEVER and FEVER X 2!!!? Maybe I am the one hampering our success, but I feel the bar charges faster at harder difficulties maybe with more keystrokes.

In case anyone is dissuaded by the challenge, let me dangle untimed no-boom 50% Chaos Scroll of Goodness at you. I can confirm they come from the boxes.

It is a shame this will be gone after today, at least temporarily.

It's hard to beat it if even one person on your team is bad, the Final Beams are a large chunk of the damage you do but it only happens when everyone hits all their notes in one set.

Do the boxes give RED coins? I would hope so since the minigame is originally from the first RED patch, but they may have taken it out. I really need more sources of coins.

Oh! Are they those "good" untradable AEEs that are 10% at 10+ (or 11+?) Stars? Those things are godly. I don't think I would have 12 Starred my weapon without them.

FINALLY out of easy modo. dammit this minigame is fun and i like it. IT NEEDS TO BE AROUND FOREVER

I only went in once; like advertised, my game crashed when the popup came fairly regularly.

Couldn't seem to hit sustains much, I imagine with practice it'd be fine though.

Why no "sign up to play" like Bingo/Yut/Flying, nexon? Timed announcements suck.

I don't understand the timing on the sustains and why you need to press two keys for it

Edit: nvm I just figured out that you actually have to press before the arrows visually enter the hit area.

You can only beat the robot if most players in the team do well. If there are bad players or those who afk through the whole game (yes they will still get B rank and reward boxes for doing nothing -_-), entire team will fail in killing him. Game difficulty that you choose does not affect whether the robot will die faster. It just depends on how good the team is.

Im not sure about the reward system in gms version, but here, you get more event coins if you do hard mode, but more reward boxes in normal mode. People who aimed for chaos goodness like me just spam normal mode and aimed for SS rank. People who want more event coins kept doing hard mode and aim for SS. As for defeating the robot, the whole team is awarded with 1 extra box.

Anyway, I didnt really care about defeating the robot anymore after many rounds of encountering afk lazy players -_- I just did my best to get SS for more boxes for myself.

Blue Livyatan seals a lot. As in I got sealed 14 times and spent over half the timer waiting to unseal.

Bring all cures.

If there was a RED update where they wouldn't have to do this server maintenance again and again, it would be so great.

Funny, I've only been sealed once or twice by him in 16 trips. Helps to have 75% Status Resist and carrying 200 All Cures at all times.

If there was a RED update where they wouldn't have to do this server maintenance again and again, it would be so great.

You mean the standard weekly server maintenance?

I'm sure I used to be able to buy All Cures from Alcaster but at some point the quest got reset, so I'm being stingy with them I usually carry darkness-cures cause of the Sirens.

This used up quite a few of my Zero's all cures the first time I fought him. Then I just dashed to the bottom right corner where the sealing move can't hit you But that's probably the reason he is supposed to be harder than regular, his time limit is much longer so its actually not as bad. I still find him easier than regular livy

Yeah, with all cures in hand, it took me about half the timer to kill it, whereas regular Livy still takes 90% of the time given.

Too bad my Dark Knight can't jump down and hit it all teh time. Would definitely help not to miss 1/5 of attacks.

Easy to search for and has the exact thread you want. If you can't see the search terms I used, they are "sweetwater" and "drop". Simple, no?

It wasn't even a 'random maintenance post', either. There was one maintenance that affected the drop rate of Sweetwater equipment (and look, it shows up third on the search, after this thread!)

75% as an Archmage with base 20%? How do.

Figure I may as well post this here, the compensation for being hellbanned is honestly not bad at all, 1000 red coins, 800 yellow + blue new years coins, 3 tradeable CoGs, 3 50% golden hammers, 70 premium trait boost potion for each trait, 600 power elixers, new years complete bit set, 100 commerci denaros. I think that was everything.

Kinda sucks though that my main maxed out almost everything decent in red shop already, and the only stuff i really need with red coins badly are 50% epic pots! But hey, 1k of red coins is still great, ill just scroll hearts or buy cubes.
