ive done 2 dungeons so far and i keep dying and losing all my rentals cos i suck :'(

One time i died trying to to do that race mini game and hit too many monsters while running with the pegasus boots lol.
other times have been to annoying monsters mixed with all the falling rocks on the mountain.

oh and those armour things that have popped up everywhere always seem to hit me at least once per guy when im trying to kill them.

New Bravely Default video for us North Americans with some of the jobs in action.

Upgraded tornado rod has that op hax range to stun stuff. Treacherous Tower is easy mode with that.

Hero Mode is pretty f-up before you get the blue mail. Some monsters can 1hko you when you have low max hp.

I played Hero mode with hint glasses on for extra challenge (since you cant see)


Anyone planning on getting Conception II? Don't know much about it, but the art looks nice and it seems like an interesting game.

So long as you don't try fighting a lynel (centaur), you should be fine. The wild ones do something like 6-8 hearts touch damage and 12 or so hearts from the fire breathin hero mode, per hit without any armour, so good luck.

Can you kill these or just avoid them? I tried killing the first one i saw and it took so many hits i gave up and ran off

Just run. It is not worth the ridiculous time and effort it takes to actually kill one of them. In Treacherous tower, it is much easier to just knock them off the edge.

They still take quite a bit even with Level 3 Master Sword. They're too tanky!

I always sniped them with the sword beam or fire rod. In the tower the easy way is to knock them off. If you don't need to kill them i just run past or freeze them. They really are not worth the hassle when they can kill you quickly.

So, anyone know why Conception II is coming out in NA when the first one did not?

I finished Link between worlds last night :3 thought the length of the dungeons were just right tbh. (but pineapple floormasters <_<)

I'm probably gonna get Conception II on Vita because its region free.

this luigi 3ds case is adorable too. it won't fit in my pocket but i'm still considering ordering one.

I'm sad the Luigi / Mario 3DS cases don't work for 3DS XLs

Here's hoping this trilogy collection gets released in the west.

Since it's capcom, it'll be a barebones rerelease again. If they redid them to have AA5 style models, then I might be interested, but I'll pass for now.


And then, in a few years when AA6 happens, capcom will blame poor sales of the trilogy rerelease as reason to not localise AA6 >_>

I would assume it would be the HD iOS version which I guess is technically an upgrade but AA5 style would be amazing. It would also be nice if they took the time to fix the typos and such but yeah no chance of that..

Now to pray they sell so well that they port AAI 1/2 over as well, yeah who am I kidding…

Ugh, you were right.

Now everyone can look forward to the uglier art (which is also cropped at the top/bottom because of the 3DSes different aspect ratios), missing frames of animation, plus added typos compared to the DS games, I suppose.

edit: Oh, and the iOS version of 2 and 3 used the original GBA music too, meaning lower quality and several tracks are missing.
