RED update thoughts and feedback

A red!Grosso Polpo dropped a Sweetwater Katara and Katana, together, in one of my Lith Harbour voyages today. Also got another Katara in a run earlier, also in Lith Harbour.

Just curious, do Lucky Item Scrolls adjust the base stats of Zero's weapon in any way aside from adding them to the respective set? Like, would the Sweetwater Lucky Item scroll grant the weapon the base +30% bossing and +10% Defense Ignore that all other Sweetwater weapons inherently have, or are the stats left untouched?

They don't change the stats of the weapons. The "missing" +30% Boss Damage and +10% Ignore DEF, compared to Fafnir or Sweetwater weapons, is already included on the final forms of Zero's weapons at 170.

Transposition really getting on my bad side.

Anyone have a good way to farm Denaro? I have this feeling that doing Rosa is better for denaro than doing Rein harbor runs. No chances for SW gear though.. but what ever.

Took me 49 tries to transpose my whip blade.

I don't know how much Denaro places after Herb Town give, but Rosa gives a max of 29 denaro, and Herb Town gives a max of 23.

Polpo is on the Rosa Run. You can get SW gear from it. (I got 3 of my items on the Rosa run.) Every boss on every run can drop SW gear.

I wouldn't count on rosa polpo to drop gear now that rates are nerfed though, but that's just me. If you're going for denaro it probably wouldn't matter though.

I haven't tried it yet (and never will because I quit) buuut did you consider using HH on the pyramid? If it can be killed by 1hko moves then maybe HH's effect on normal mobs will trigger on it and you can 2shot it instead.

I don't have any experience with lith levy but hopefully the rates aren't absolutely abysmal for a place you can only go to once or twice a day.

I've killed it 4 times since the nerf.
Also killed green livy 12 times, red grosso polpo 16 times, and green grosso polpo 8 times.
(I do 2 rien and 1 lith run every day).
No equip drops so far.

Yeah that's what i would have gone with if i were at that point. How about cube materials? Chaos/cubic blades, superior crystals? Is that stuff abundant?
