Additionally, I don't think we will be getting another level cap increase this year. I think they were referring to the level cap increase to 250.

Currently there are no plans for the 5th Job Advancement but there will be updates aimed at high level characters, including level cap increases. Expect great things for high leveled characters in the near future.

Because the person who answered that question also is the same person who said they don't sell permanent NX in the cash shop because their players would not have enough inventory space...

It does imply that, however, why would they honestly raise the cap even higher when it was raised to 250 within the last year, and no one's even reached it yet? Does that honestly make sense? :S

Additionally, high leveled characters are getting a lot of good stuff. We just got "The Seed" in KMST, and there's a Ninja Castle revamp in the works aimed at level 160+ characters, which they mentioned.

I don't expect them to be in a rush to put anything after 4th job really.

there were plans for 5th job already, including 4th job name reclassifications and a whole bunch of teasers.
then, JMS released a rebirth system. so as not to diminish that system, KMS held off on finalizing their 5th job announcements.

now i kno there were a lot of fan-created 5th jobs, but one of them was official teaser from nexon.

The JMS rebirth system never left JMST. IIRC, it was only there for a few days before being scrapped.

i may be iffy on the date, but i wanna say summer 2012, were the teaser announcements

5th job makes more sense than another level cap; we already run out of SP well before level 200. and the 3rd rank of link skills for level 210 just seems arbitrary because so many people are already 200, they wouldn't just "award" it for a lower level.

second thought... reducing 4th job to level 100 definitely messes up with SP numbers. doesn't everyone max skills by 170 now?

My Dark Knight has 16 unusable SP at 189 (all 4th skills maxed); so 183 was the last fully spent level, 184 used up 2 sp.

With various sources of +1/+2 levels in skills it's easy to be done earlier though.

Yes, it was mentioned they are working on it. It probably will still be a while before it come out, but they are (supposed to be) working on it.

The only teaser Nexon has shown on the 5th job advancement is the 'V' teaser during the RED announcement event.

Today in an interview with Inven with Nexon it has been confirmed that this is indeed the 5th job advancement.
It is said that it is hard to give an ETA on 5th job advancement due to the large amount of work into skills of the 5th job advancement alone.
