It's true. I was all like "What the pineapple?!" about Angelic Buster. The attempts at sex appeal (They even slipped in a split second jiggle in her transformation sequence!), her sheer pinkness, her..... well, everything.

.....I ended up loving her until I hit 120+, where I hit a brick wall because she sucks at Evolving World. (Well, without funding at least.) I loved her and Eskalade's dialogue. I loved blasting things with pink beams. God dammit, I even loved her voice clips! ("Do I really have to wear this?" gets me every time.)

And before Angelic Buster, I mained Mercedes. Who was the girliest class at the time. (Unicorns and fairies!)

.....I end up liking the girly classes in MS. (Even though I usually main Warriors, traditionally the manliest classes, in most games. Including MS. I finally settled on maining my original Hero after years of flipflopping.) I'll probably end up liking Beast Tamer too despite that video that leaves me confused as to what the pineapple I just watched, but I'm currently busy with Diablo 3 Paragon grinding in preparation for Reaper of Souls, so I'll just create one to secure a name and then leave her there for a while.

Is it a sickness? Maybe.

I swear they're trying to make an all-in-one class. Like this is supposed to fit all roles even more so than phantom does.

Razmos Wrote:Sorry to bother you Spadow but do you (or any of your sources) have any info on Beast Tamer's support hyper skills? It looked like there was a lot of them in the skill video, but they were never touched upon.

Beast Tamer has Hyper Skills like other classes have.
e.g. Increase mob count, Increase damage %, Increase boss damage % etc.

It has two active skills. One active Hyper Skill makes yourself become invisible for a period of time while increasing the total damage of your party members.

Ah, i'm aware of that, but I was referring to the actual skill bonuses, what they increase and for which skill.
It's ok if you don't know them though, or if it will take a while to compile them.

Did that Teaser Page for GMS have a release date?

Seriously that micro-site looks like crap.

Meanwhile JMS's release of Beast Tamer was apparently pushed back to the 22nd. http://maplestory.nexon.co.jp/support/in...?no=837144

I wonder if they're going to attempt a world-wide release or if there was some bug/issue discovered on CMST that needs to be fixed before they release it.
Or Nexon JP is just fu'cking around and JMS will get it last of the three versions.

The 15th of this month.

I don't think that was confirmed was it? it was just speculation.

that being said, the video on the teaser site was added on the 6th, but was unlisted, and it was actually published for realsies on the 8th. So I suppose if you consider the teaser site the "update highlights", then yeah, 15th sounds about right.

All of the major events ending on the 15th (including zero creation) is far more often than not as close to confirmation as you can get.

True enough haha, I've kinda been thinking that all along.

I'm only jazzed about the link skill. That's literally the only thing I care about concerning this class. Sad day Sad

GL to those that main it. It seems powerful given the right circumstances.

Even though this looks fairly girly/cutesy/childish the gameplay and the unique ability to switch between playing-types attracts me. Definitely considering maining this class.

girliness - well it can be tolerated. but on the other hand, angelic borester was so ridiculously ear-piercing and high pitched and the things she said were so slatty and demeaning Mad

well this for me was a surprise new class, i didn't know about it until when i opened the web page. i had almost thought they weren't going to maintain their old strategy of churning out numerous new classes and forgetting about them ever after. ChinMonocle

The video is certainly girly and Chase is canonically female, but the class itself isn't genderlocked (unless they do a reverse Hayato/Kanna and drop the male option), so I wouldn't think that much of the girly quality, if any of it, of the videos would carry over into the game, especially not if you're playing male Beast Tamer (hopefully). (I mean in quests, I guess, there's no doubt the skills are kinda cutesy, but I find them somewhat tolerable, not that I've actually looked into them much, though).
