Last few episodes of Valvrave:
I dunno what to make us this.
Spoiler
The middle third or so of this show could've used some heavy editing to give an episode or two to actually have some sort of transition from "We killed Cain" to Galactic Empire. Oh well. At least it was the Third Galactic Empire. Because NAZIS
Edit:
Courtesy of reddit: "After watching this show I have come to a conclusion. I have no idea what I expected."
Fairly apt description.

Monogatari SS: This episode was amazing. The character development for Sengoku and Kaiki in one episode. Kaiki was just turning out to be a better guy than we though... its unfortunate how it ended, although he at least seemed like he was able to make peace with it. I wonder how the other characters will react to his death, or if they will even find out. Maybe this is what Gaen was warning him about? And I wonder why Ougi took Oshino's name (probably to gain trust?)

Just marathon-ed all of Valvrave. Glorious plotholes. First off:
>make your own empire
>don't think to legalize polygamy
I liked Saki over Shoko, but why not both
Spoiler
The application of the future scenes was a bit odd. It felt extremely out of place for the first Rukino future scene. It especially downplayed the later scenes where she's captured. There was nowhere near enough evidence shown that Haruto went berserk often. It was shown twice, and then suddenly, they say it happens all. the. pineappleing. time. Pino and Pru were useless to the story, other than for a way for the Valvrave to explain how it's dangerous and pomegranate.
There were so many train-wreck moments, like when the students just started partying and whatever the pomegranate after declaring independence, or even before that where they just sever the module. I guess it's far enough in the future it can generate its own power, water, and air, but they can't produce their own food, meaning they need to import it. This is never shown, and it's only implied that they get money from donations through social media to afford it all.
The Phantom scene was just retarded. They didn't unplug all those people. They didn't explain to them that it wasn't theirs. "I can explain! There's a reason for this! (silence)" everyone pineappleing dies. Cool.
L-elf inherits Liesolette's dream of creating a world where people and Magius can live in peace. Gigantic ass witch hunt and genocide where they capture and massacre everyone who they think is a Magius. Well done.
Valvraves are powered by memories. 221 years later, Shoko is still piloting Unit 1. Seemingly no side effects on any of the pilots. 50 more alien types found. Who's kid is that?
One of those train wrecks you can't help but watch. Never change, Sunrise.

Also those fucking OPs 10/10
I kinda wonder if they assumed they'd get the sales for another cour or two?

Saki was definitely best girl.
The sales for season 1 were okay, from the looks of things. It's mainly being pulled by Mizuki Nana & T.M. Revolution though. Doubt the season 2 sales will stay afloat. I really hope they don't get another season. Maybe an OVA to wrap up all those holes. Can't wait to watch Buddy Complex though. <3 Sunrise
Noragami 1:
Rather enjoyed this. Characters are entertaining and interact well, silly faces were made. Feels like Hataraku and Monogatari (Thanks, Arararagi) in a lot of ways. supercell ED never hurts either.
Nobunagun 1:
Anime girl runs to school with toast hanging out of her mouth? How quaint. Fifteen uninteresting minutes leading into surprisingly awesome power-drunk MC at the end. Let's see where this goes. Love the thrashing metal ED too.
Witch Craft Works 1:
Heh. Gender role reversals are fun.
Sakura Trick
Came in expecting anime of the year, got anime of the year. I don't even need to see anything else to confidently say that. The only question now is, will it, in the next few episodes, become anime of the decade, or even of all time? Will it surpass the bonds of simple animation and become the single greatest achievement of human civilization?
Nagi Asukara 14
Looks like this will be the better half of the show and that the first half was only setup to this one.
Magical Warfare
Pretty neat, will continue watching.
Witchcraft Works
dat animation.
Mikakuni blahblah
Cute girls and something resembling a plot, good enough for me.
chuu22
I actually watched this on the chinese stream leak the day before yesterday and am just watching again for the subs; still super adorable, just wish they hadn't ruined Shinka's hairstyle, though the other girl's hair changes were definitely good. The movie (that doesn't come out until February...) explains why Rika and Yuuta are living together now.
watched the rest of the shows out so far, nothing really interesting; I'll keep following one or two but most I dropped already.

Kill la Kill 13: Senketsu nnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooo. God damn it. Kinda saw it coming, none of the students that have asked her for help have been on her side so far. I hope they don't have a Gainax ending.

LH 15
Simultaneously the best and the most depressing episode of this show. It legitimately made me feel terrible that we will not in our lifetimes have an MMO with that sort of camaraderie building and instancing; people in real MMOs don't give a pomegranate about learning about the other classes and how to mesh with them properly, they don't give a pomegranate about doing difficult content, they just whine until it's nerfed, they don't give a pomegranate about building real teams, they'll replace a member of a static with someone better at the drop of a hat.
Sekai Seifuku 1
Little girls and world domination, there is absolutely no way I'm not on board. Little girl armpits.
Nisekoi
If the blonde is the main girl I'm not interested, not really into her type at all.
no-rin
What the hell is that little animal that looks like a kangaroo, he's awesome. Tamura Yukari idol with OP theme song is pretty good, and the teacher is like the one from Hidamari done right, I want to marry her and I don't care that she's "around 40" ;_;

Nisekoi: Shaft did a good job animating. Tossed in their head tilts as usual. Got to wonder why the pendant was done 3D.
Technically currently airing, the animation for Evangelion was amazing. They did a great job on the dub. While it was supposed to be darker, they still got plenty of laughs with Kaworu x Shinji lines. can't wait for the 4th movie.
