It definitely isn't 3 for every animal that's already been said i think.

I want to make my own Bear + cat build I'm not that great at maths (I suck) but, I added together the number of skill points shown in the previous screenshot (Bear + Eagle + Unused SP) and then divided it by 140 (since we know the character in that screenshot is in that level range, since they are at ToT), and it ended up at around 3.6, meaning the character in that screenshot was probably a couple of levels higher than 140.
If we assume that 225 is the max for bear skills, and 196 is the max for eagle skills, then the unused SP + The SP for every level after that would probably max out one other skill tree.
So I think we will have enough total SP to max or nearly max 3 out of 4 skill trees.

Each build seems to have around 280 SP, according to the max levels shown in the spoilers. Multiply it by 4, and you have 1120 SP needed to max everything.
Or in other words, 93.33 levels per build. That's a lot of levels. You'd have to theorically reach lv 374 at the very least, if you gained SP from lv 1.

Takebacker; Razmos; Alloy; ..thank you very much
I guess it will be enough to max my cat + bear skills and maybe dump some SP at Eagle or leopard too

I THINK the idea the player had in the magnus video was that magnus requires some level of mobility and the Leopard moves while attack as well as has good range. The player was clearly not ready to be taking on Magnus in the first place, so I guess that tactic is somewhat understandable.
Meanwhile in the Dimension Invade video, we can clearly see that if you don't need to be move around the map much or the enemies aren't spread out, the bear simply wrecks everything.

well, as long as you have a flsh jump skill and maybe a potion pot you will be OK at magnus with any class (hell, even teleport is enough xD) I dont think jaguar is a nice Idea to kill magnus its seems so slow

Those skill sound effect re-uses, see if you can spot them all. Doesn't appear to have a specific teleport skill either which is going to be bizarre for a mage. Looks to be a good class though, will play casually.

Okay, one small thing in that video completely sold this class for me. When he switched from Bear form to Panther form, all the keybindings stayed the same. I was worried that you would have to keep all the skills from all the trees on your key setup and that it was going to be crazy difficult to remember.
Also, dat glorious, glorious HD video, finally a video of Beast Tamer that didn't look fugly.
I'm a bit.. surprised at the potions that give you SP. The fact you get them randomly through the event is worrying, in the sense that some people could have way more SP than others depending on how lucky they are.
Seriously what the hell at the eagle skill which is 15 SP for a measly 10 jump. what a ripoff.

ManxDrk Wrote:survivability overall seems looooooooooow Well to be fair, they were wearing level 8 mage equips at temple of time. And even then, mages aren't known for being tanky anyway. A normal player would have likely double that HP, and far, far more defense.
remember: tespia.
Arghh i'm so confused. I'm thinking of going Bear for bossing and mobbing, and Cat for all those glorious passive buffs and cute animations.
I like how fast paced Panther is though :/
What do you guys think? For levelling, would Cat or Panther be better? keeping in mind that Cat form doesn't get the 40% exp buff until nearly level 120.
Question Wrote:wow it seem beast tamer are horrible bossing class probably the worst bossing class ever o.0 What exactly are you basing that on? Bear form seems pretty good so far. None of the videos shown so far have really shown the classes bossing potential, because it's tespia.

I still don't know what to fully think about this class. I'm guessing the passive buffs from one partner are not active while using another partner. I'll probably get it to 200 and see what I think about it because I think it needs to be tweaked a little. Like you should get 3 SP in each animal instead of just SP for overall.
