I was going to join the IRC channel, but I can't find the server info and I don't feel like using the built in web one.

Twitch chat is always a good experience though.

A good way to experience stupidity-induced seizures, maybe.

Twitch chat is hilarious, if you know the right channels.

Sure, but a massively populated one during a marathon stream isn't really one of them.

Eh, depends. I watch Kripparrian and he's consistently at 17-20k+ after a few hours and his chat is the funniest I've seen.

Anyways, I missed most of today's AGDQ due to my weekly TCG tournament. I did catch a few glimpses of Viewtiful Joe, Pikmin 3, and Super Monkey Ball 2, but it was just that. I'll have to check archives for those games later tonight / tomorrow.

I really enjoyed Duke's Hotline Miami speed run back in SGQD 2013. But now, the race between Duke and Fluffy was horrible. The first 5 minutes were great, but then when the gap got to 20 seconds between runners, it all went to hell. There was no focus on commentary about the game. Fluffy was just dropping twitch channel names, twitter names, tweets, follow this guy, check this guy, etc. Really bad segment.

I really loved the Viewtiful Joe run from yesterday and the TAS bot / block section was really enjoyable.

Don't know if it's just me, but the twitch.tv archive section for Pikmin 3 seems "corrupted" halfway through the run and stops loading indefinitely (From 5:30:xx) until around the 6 hour mark, (when Monkey Ball 2 is about to star)t. Hoping it gets fixed soon.

Trihex never fails to make his run super hype.

Multiply that amount by 3~4x and it's not even remotely entertaining.

Literally impossible to follow anything in chat, and it's nothing but emotes and copy-pasted messages. The fact they even keep it OFF sub-only mode is beyond me. The event is to raise money to prevent the cancer you're bound to get from the chat. Rolleyes

@chat discussion: The worst thing about it for me is that there's absolutely no way for you to participate in chats that have as many people as this stream and big tournaments have. So what's the point?

Was way too tired to watch the Twilight Princess run, it seemed like most people were at that point too. Just caught the Starfox 64 score run and thought it was really cool. I should probably get the 3DS version at some point.

I mean I missed around 40min of it, but even then I wasn't really focused on watching the run. The StarFox 64 run was amazing. I need to go watch the Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones run to see what happened. The estimated time was 2 hours, but it nearly went over 30 minutes.

The end of that SF64 run, when he talks about how retarded the game's scoring and high ranks are, was hilarious. I've never played SF64, so I have no idea about it, but still its hilarious.

Didn't they have a random fire drill in the middle of one of their runs?

Yeah it happened during Tri-Hex's Yoshi Island 100% run.

Just a forewarning that some of the "start" times on there are off, like the TP run for example.
