nah. just don't buy/sell anything and don't do anything "important" that's time consuming.
I'm going to take this time to do things I wouldn't usually do otherwise.

Trained to 188, leveled my kanna to 166, made a 24% dex earring, perf scrolled a lumi weapon & just leveled my lumi to 152 from 141.

All in one day and because a group of people decide to ruin this game for others.. I could've wasted all my time and won't be getting anything from nexon due me going away for 10 days.

Sigh... feeling anxious.

A bit of good news, Nexon just removed Hired Merchants and Shop Permits from the Cash Shop, It'll at least stop new exploiters.

I fail to see the point in this. They should just shut the game down now, if they're actually there.

I disagree.
This means someone out there is watching, and that they're starting to form their attack.
Leaving the servers up while preventing other people from joining in on it means they could potentially save themselves some time later on by catching some of the dupers in the act rather than having to manually go through all the logs to find each one individually.

I'd say a rollback is pretty inevitable at this point, so if they're going to do that, why not make a thorough attempt at ridding the world of some hackers at the same time? Although the last rollback wasn't a very good example of this since they didn't do pomegranate anyway, but I'm hoping they'll learn from their mistakes.

Red Leaf High is back, and gives exp to level 200+.

At level 206, I'm getting 18,399,678 exp per quest (and the appropriate multiples for the rooms). I believe this is the same as level 199 get. (per this thread: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=59498)

Total for a full run + a few quests ended up giving me 3.24%


An event that isn't in the previous patch notes: Cassandra gives out a "Glowing Nose" and says to come back tomorrow to upgrade it. Looks like some kind of evolving face accessory event, but all I can find in extractions are these three expiring untradeable noses:

It does stem the amount of duping capable at the moment. It allows them to do something about it when everyone is back ( i'm assuming that people are away still due to holidays etc) Expect something to happen later in the day

Not bad but considering the set up for abuse of the party exp that isn't much unfortunately =(

I must say I like the new method they have for getting people together for event games. Instead of the envelope-over-your-head summons that people keep missing, and which leave you with "no opponents found" much of the time, we now have the free registration waiting lists. Whenever enough people on the server want to play, no matter in which channel, a game will start.

That said, the traditional Korean games take too long and the rewards are not really worth it.
At least so I'm told, I can't really reach the New Year's shop, as it's in Lag Central (aka Event Hall). If anyone sees it anywhere else, please let me know.

10 coins for a 60% Innocence Scroll is probably the best deal in the shop. Clean Slates are 10% and 40 coins a piece.

Fortune Chair and Black Bean Chair are pretty nice too.

Unfortunately I don't spend cash like nobody's business. Sorry Nexon this is useless to me.

I absolutely hate this games scrolling system, you either have to be incredibly, INCREDIBLY lucky or pay out of your ass for 10 dollar scrolls. It doesn't sound like the "scroll tracers" or whatever that new system is really changes it at all. Seriously, they just need to get rid of boom chance completely, it's retarded.

SO how far of a rollback should I be prepared for? I can expect anything I do now futile so I'm just really playing mini games atm, but I actually did stuff ysterday that was important...

In You&I update video they mentioned about "less chance to boom your item when failing a scroll", seems promising. But that's another story when it's come to Nexon
