RED update thoughts and feedback
Lazershock Wrote:Of ALL the times to release it, they couldn't have waited ONE more day? When Nexon's staff is actually in the building?

You should expect griefers to be merciless. They want to cause the most trouble. To assume otherwise is naive.

Honestly tho, this was very much expected to happen...

Sigh, some people just want to watch the world burn are simply pimentos.

You can't exactly blame Nexon for this one, they are people just like us and deserve time off for the holidays, especially after the hacks and exploits that happened recently. It's a shame hackers and griefers just like to ruin things for everyone else.

Welp. Time to watch the chaos unfold. :l

I guess I should log on for possible compensation.

I honestly don't see how hard it can be to ban a hacker.
Don't they know how to look in their own database?
Doesn't their database show what kind of items people got?
Isn't there a log of all trades and maybe even conversations?

Too hard just ban everyone who was logged on.

Pft, just rollback everyone to last week, hellban several hundred random people in each world and release their ban two days later for no reason.

That's how you really show them~

Don't forget adding boatloads of compensation which may still damage the economy as everyone and their mother farms it~

Oh good I get to be rolled back and lose everything I have done and most hackers will slip through the net and keep their duped stuff. Business as usual.

We could use our free owls of minerva to gather as much screenshot evidence as we can of the shops of people with the commonly duped items, then submit it all as one huge community ticket, make it as public as possible

weekends, holidays, y'know, when they have the day off.

yeah, they do this all the pineappleing time.
Every time they make something public, it's on the weekend, or during holidays, when the most damage can be done.
Sometimes I wonder if these asswipes even play the game or realize just how much damage they do

Nexon are people just like us, but they have a business to run. If the business is open 24/7, there's got to be someone minding the store 24/7. Especially when previous years' experience has shown the griefers always do something for the holidays.
I am sure Nexon can find someone to accept time-and-a-half pay to sit there and watch for the inevitable vandal attack, and then hit the OFF switch. But they'd always much rather pull long long hours cleaning up long after the pomegranate has not just hit the fan but dried up and left permanent ugly stains on carpet, walls, furniture, and people.
