I give this thread a 0/10. As for combos, once I hit combo 3 for both of my characters I straight up stopped using combo 1 for Alpha. I still use it for Beta because it just works better, but by using Alpha's combo 2 and 3 once, going back to 2, then tagging over to beta for her combo 1 and 3, Alpha's combo 3 is fully cooldowned and ready to start the cycle of murder train all over again.

I'm guessing this is pretty much how it'll work for their 4th combos too? By the time you cycle through the combos and tagging they'll be ready to use again?

For me, though, Zero has been a huge pain. After learning about the Quest Boosters, I've been trying to earn 2,500 NX Credit to buy one from the Cash Shop. For a while (several days), I've been sitting at 2,499 NX Credit, and I'm finding it difficult to get any more. I even installed stupid software on my computer, but still no NX Credit. Help.

Pretty much, as long as you hit something, the cooldowns will reduce.

I have found Zero to be a higher form of Hayato, this means to me that I can do far more with far less, and the dps you can pump out regardless of the situation or boss, is insane.

My latency is too high to rely solely on Alpha's Combos 2 and 3 only. There are also instances when I really don't want to use Combo 3, such as low-lying upper platforms, though with some practice I can hit both platforms with both hits of Combo 3. Even counting the numbers on Alpha alone, it is not good enough to use Combo 2 and Combo 3 because the cooldown is 10 seconds, and there are only enough attacks to reduce the cooldown by 6 seconds unless you tag. I don't tag as often as I should, but I hate having to swap keystrokes for no good reason (I'm not even level 135 btw). It's like being crazy-skulled for 3 seconds and then back for 3 seconds, and repeat all over again.

I like the rushing skill on Combo 1 anyway. It's jump cast-able and can be pre-primed. Totally wonderful.

Uhm.... well, now that there's a zero discussion thread, I can ask this question (I think?)

Why can't I use a 50% hammer on the weapons? QQ Also, am I missing something or are the chat message glitched? I mean, I use one attack, then follow up with the second attack from the same skill and the chat window says "You can't use that skill yet" QQ

Open up the "Weapons" tab and the hammer should be there to be dragged into the middle slot.

That's what I did, to no success. The thing just says that can't be used on that weapon.

eh, i didn't want to post it but since its about Zero, and talking about combos ill post a video of me at 193 at TP. I have since then reached 200, and boy those last 7 levels made a difference o.o. Hitting 3mil+ now with Alpha with Rolling Cross, when fully buffed. Yeah Ik i didn't reach the 'max' dps by using flash cut/giga crash on Beta, i really dont like having Beta assist with giga crasher, and rolling driver is my favorite skill <3, its only a shame u can't flash jump with it, otherwise it be perfect, I dont assist with giga crash because its slower than Alpha assiting with Wind Cutter, and it doesnt have as much range , also when assist with Alpha, while Beta is using Heaven Breaker, u can follow up with the next combo, and both attacks go through as shown in the video.

My pattern was, Assist Wind Cutter>Rolling cross,>Flash Assualter(this one is optional, i dont always use it)> Assist Spinning Driver> Repeat pattern

D~ Moon Strike, C~ Rising Slash

It's a shame that Zero can't access the Silent Crusade quests. thankfully though, you can still access the silent crusade shop to get the eye and face accessories. since you can't enter the mystic gates to get coins, the best way is to channel surf at Snowman and Riche, they both drop 3 coins each. I just got my Mystic Face Accessory.

also I got to level 200! It sucks there isn't a level 200 medal.

If you are decently funded or if you really want damage, you would probably go for Gollux earrings and Gollux belt and Gollux pendant. The Mystic face and eye accessories are good to chaos (got so many untradable chaos scrolls from Monster Park) but the only good thing about them are their potentials and their set effects. Stats-wise, PChaosing +1WA/MA branches gives better stats before the potential.

True, but.. without a large reliable supply of PChaos scrolls which everyone seems to have (amongst others) and without access to branch noses (which are ugly anyway), Mystics are a nice starting point.

Zakum and Hilla also drop stacks of them. My Xenon hasn't touched any of the SC bosses since finishing the quests, but I have over 300 coins now from them. So if you like bossing, those two are a good way to get coins.

I always wonder if you can Assist without having to Tag as well. Some of the skills I feel can be use to constantly use as an Assist, such as Beta 4.

Zero is a whole pile of fun when I 1hko stuff.

The instant Alpha 2a or 3a fail to KO on their first move it's just a pain in the ass.

Also, maps where the platform above is within range of 3a's climbing, even when you're sitting on it. Ones where you have to jump to get to it are cool but when you're on the ground it's annoying.

My general strategy if stuff has a lot of HP is, eg. 3a left (run across the mobs), 3b right (and then rush them back), 4a (now that they're stacked), 2a,b (to fix cooldowns and find new mobs), then repeat.

On bosses: alpha 3b, 4a then beta 4a, has so far instantly killed every regular mirror world boss. 5+ stacks of wind cutter will sometimes even kill it before I tag beta in.



I only use Alpha 1 if both 2 and 3 have cooldown on them.







Annoyance: neither of them heal, and all 8 combo skills block potions. You have to let go of combo keys, hold down potions, and wait a couple seconds. It's annoyed me on DA/DS's plain attack spams too, but they can both heal themselves using skills that chain naturally.

After I tried kiritas I enjoyed the class even more because I can keep doing combo after combo and thats something I liked since aran but the only problem is that's pretty much the only class that leaves my hands sore from doing the combos(gotta get myself to only tap up to 3 times a key <.<).

Just took my Zero to Easy Magnus. WOW, they are really good at cheating potion cooldown by tagging to the full hp partner. Not to mention they have a lot skills that can hit Magnus when he's "up there".

Zero is fun but there are too many buttons, not used to playing with a keyboard
I really like the animations for Alpha's whirlwind attack, Wingbeat would be much cooler if it had those ones instead of the dumb Kaiser ones. Also the animation for the ultimate with all the swords is beautiful.

I actually play with a PS3 controller. *Shock, gasp, horror!* I use XPadder to bind my L1 and R1 to modifier keys. This way it's like I have 3x the buttons. So for Alpha, I have Square, L1 + Square, R1 + Square, and D-pad left. Beta uses Triangle and D-pad up. I would use L1 + R1 + Square / Triangle, but XPadder is buggy if you hold down more than one modifier key.

I couldn't ever get modifier keys to work last time I tried so I only have 1 layout, it works well enough for most classes (Bishop is a bit of a pain though but I can just put all the summons/buffs on one of the analogue sticks in various directions), but I couldn't do it with Zero at all. I'll see if I can figure it out though because that sounds pretty comfortable :o
