So.. this happened. Does this mean that this guy thinks I'm suitable for the job?

I was working at Dollar Tree one night, this one fellow was purchasing some items. He asked me my nationality/ethnicity, and then started asking what I was majoring in. He then went back to his van, and came back and gave me his work-card. On it, says "ACN", which is a huge telecommunications company. I never asked for anything either. He seemed rather enthusiastic, and he seemed rather happy to give me his phone number and work info and everything.

So, is this like ..a job offer or something to help me start my career? I feel rather excited to know that a random person came up to me and just gave me their work info, and even suggested for me to contact him back. I'm currently in my 4th semester, 2nd year of college. I need to do a 5th semester after this, and I can graduate.

Then I plan on going to Penn State (not Main campus), and then majoring in Computer Science. So in regards to the guy that gave me his work-card, does this mean that he thinks I'm qualified for a job at ACN? The following below is ACN.

Well...something like that doesn't happen everyday. I think if you are really interested in working there it wouldn't hurt to look into it and get yourself more information, or just clarify what he can offer you, and what he's actually looking for.

Yeah, i see no reason to not give him a call. Sounds kinda sketchy to me though.

CONGRATZ That's not really un-common to happen.. I would give him a call & see what's available at their establishment..either part-time/internship/co-op.. you never know You may not be working at the Dollar Tree anymore if you get something with ACN

Make sure he's not trying to rape you or kidnap you before you get hasty.
